I would never Ever recommend Parkhill Meats for local farmers. Parkhill was a nightmare to deal with from start to finish during the processing of our lambs, from lost orders, to slow service - the final last straw was that they GAVE away one of our lambs to another customer. They wouldn’t refund OR replace but wanted to go to the customer and pick it up from their freezer and give it to us! Obviously they have no regard for safe food handling- we have no idea how that lamb had been stored! Taking a closer look at their shop there are several violations (which will be formally reported to OMAFRA) including RAW meats mixed with smoked meats, dripping condensation in to meats - the list goes on.Biggest regret we have had- trusting them with our year’s meat supply.

Very clean facilities. Great service.We got our Udhiya from here this year and are extremely satisfied with what we got.They have a decent selection of Burgers, Sausages, Bologna of Beef, Lamb and Goat, which are also very tasty.Parking facilities are minimal and the waiting areas can be small if there are many visitors at once.

I ordered the Rib portion (1/8) of a side of beef after watching a YouTube video on butchering a cow. Parkhill meats asked me how long I wanted the meat aged for so I went with the high end steak house norm of 28 days. Of course there is some shrinkage when meat dry ages for 28 days but wow was it worth it, glad they offer that option. The flavor profile of the meat was outstanding, it was some of the beefiest and finest tasting beef I have had in quite some time. On top of that they butchered the meat to my specs and delivered it. Priced similarly to Costco but the beef I received was definitely tastier. The tenderness was on par with what you would expect from a craft butcher using AAA and the marbling was average. What makes me want to come back though is the taste of the beef, it's hard to explain with words, you must try it.
