We came for dinner during the weekend buffet. The food was good but for the price, the options felt quite limited. The entree options that were available weren’t kept very warm either.A sore point was the staff’s general lack of knowledge on the ingredients in the food. We have a gluten intolerance and when asking the staff about which foods had gluten, one staff member was unsure when listing options, and had to be corrected by another staff member. Although, the second staff member was not entirely sure as well. This misinformation could be dangerous for those with dietary restrictions and also made us feel more uneasy with what we would be eating. On the other hand, dessert options were vast and were also clearly labeled with potential allergens and dietary-restricted ingredients. The chocolate fountain was also a great touch. Other than the food, the staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was great! The restaurant is located in a very beautiful area and the connecting hotel is just as nice, we loved the interior design and lighting. We also really appreciated that the staff let us stay well past closing time to sit and finish our food and just hang out! :)

What a stunning restaurant. The place transports you to the early 1900s. The heritage property is mesmerizing. Conveniently located in Toronto, the restaurant gives you a classy British vibe. We dined at the patio near the water fountain, the food and the hospitality is top notch too. I would recommend indoor than the patio if you’re a fan of Neo gothic architecture.

The restaurant serves delicious food! We went there for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is classy. The garden around the restaurant is beautiful and the front area is a great place to take photos. Parking is available across the street (paid).

First time back in 30 years. Old school feel, kind of time travel. Food very consistent with memories. Nothing outstanding but all good and plentiful. Roast beef, roast ham, breakfast favorites. Music to match, 70 and 80s. Very nice friendly staff.

Well established restaurant. We went for brunch buffet. Parking is about 2 mins walk outside the restaurant. Don’t need to show up on time. They won’t seat customers if you come there early. It’s a nice family restaurant. Not a single diner wore joggers pants with running shoes on the day. I think it’s great to see. Expect toddlers crawling around. I think it’s not cute if kids touching the floor and then grab the skewer to enjoy the chocolate fountain.Kids are not free between certain age. And expect spending more than 60 without drinking alcohol nor sodaI will go again for special occasions.Service is good.

if you're tired of good service or eating good healthy food, just book a table for afternoon tea at the Old Mill Restaurant!inedible sandwiches, margarineand stale cakes will be waiting for you! Also, I have to say that the whole bread pyramid with added wine for two, tax and tip will set you back $155.but the unforgettable time is worth it!to be honest the scones were good, and the old sharm restaurant itself looks lovely)

I went to the Old Mill for a wedding and this venue is top notch! The rooms are well decorated, well lit. The fireplace was lit up at one point, added a homely touch to the atmosphere. The staff were so amazing and really friendly. Everything just went perfect. The location is close to major highways, steps from Old Mill Station.I didn't get to explore all the rooms, just the main one on the main floor, as well as the Chapel. I would've like to see their courtyard, but I didn't have enough time for that. The only thing that needed some tlc were the old rifles and swords hanging on the wall that leads downstairs, they needed a good dusting.

Heard of the Old Mill through a friend, went for a Friday night dinner on the patio. Service was outstanding my server was very attentive, the food was excellent I had the Lamb and enjoyed it. It was a nice touch to hear a live piano player during dinner and finished my dinner with a tiramisu which was served in a glass with a shot of expresso and chocolate, very elegant. Will definitely return and highly recommend a visit.

I feel like I went back in time! The restaurant is huge. We went here for one of our friend’s party. There is a lot of food. The food here is average. The pasta and the braised beef is good. The sirloin and the lamb was okay. The service is pretty good. The only downside is the lighting and it feels really old. The decoration is very laid back. I feel like I’m in the 90s
