Alka Pools gave us exactly what we asked for and accommodated some changes along the way. The pool was set on columns ensuring that it was attached to solid ground, I am not sure other builders would have done this. From start up, everything has worked beautifully and is easy to understand. It was clear, everyone involved cared about the end results, their skill and experience was evident in all their work. I contacted this company in order to get a quote. Told them that I'm ready, any time and we have money. After sending email, talking on the phone with receptionist and the sale person, this is my take: they are so rude and arrogant, not interested even to give a proper quote or timeline.This is email I received:“As per discussion over phone, I checked that we can only Start a new project in Spring 2024.Also, the budget could reach $ 250K for Pool & Hot tub only, not including any other work. Unfortunately, we may not be the right fit for this project. Good Luck. “Note: this quote was given without looking at the size of the project or where will be installed. They were just too lazy to put any effort.. As well I was told that it could take from 6 months to 3 years to build a pool!!! They obviously do not like to have new customers.

Absolutely amazing company, we built a house in North Vancouver and we had interviewed 3 other reputable companies to design and build our infinity pool and hot tub. Hands down...Alka was by far our best choice on a very important feature of our home. The pool was built on time, on budget and when a few issues came up that involved other trades, they took care of the problems immediately. Unresponsive, No credibility , unreliable , take for ever to complete their job. I do not recommend them.
