I placed an order on January 27 and got a confirmation email right away saying that my order went through and will receive another email when they ship out my order. I emailed them after 3 days to get an update on the shipping date and they replied back after 2 days telling me that the order is out of stock and I will need to wait another 2 weeks for another shipment.I emailed them back asking a) why was I able to order on their website when they're out of stock and b) why wasn't I informed the items were out of stock in the first place and I had to email them to find out.It has been more than 2 weeks since I sent that email and no one has emailed me back. I work in a hospital and does shift work so I can't phone them during their office hours, but someone should be able to reply my email after 17 days.Do not order from this company. Their customer service is non existent and I am still waiting for my order.

I've never had such a challenging time with an online store.Made an order early May, then received an email stating it didn't have 2/4 of the items in stock, backordered until July. Sure, cancel order.Made another order. Emailed a request to change sizes, which they were agreeable. A month passes, status unchanged. New policy of 20% restock fee so I'm discouraged to cancel. I emailed for updates, said they're backordered until August, so they suggested a substitute which I declined; also stated they had 2/4 of my items in stock and would ship them in the next few days. Ships about two weeks later; super fast shipping but half of the items I received were wrong so now I'm driving there to drop off this wrong item.Great selection if they had the inventory. Really difficult customer service, save yourself the headache.UPDATE: December 2020, Richard (unsure of role) emailed me to resolve the situation. Additional star for the follow through.

This was a terrible shopping experience in 2020.I ordered the products in January, but they were not shipped. I recommended other people to buy the exact same thing here, and even though they placed orders later than me, their orders were delivered. I sent several emails asking about my order, but the staff's response was very perfunctory. They were slow to react and avoided talking about why others received their orders before me.After months of waiting, my patience was worn thin, so I sent an email asking to cancel my order. At that point, they responded quickly and almost immediately cancelled the order.I will never come back again!

Unprofessional and NOT TRUSTWORTHYI placed an order(paid at the same time) on the website on January 22nd and received confirmation email. I asked when the order will be shipped and they said next week.However, received a call on January 29th about their new company policy that they can only sell half of the order to me and since the order is now under 100 dollars, I’ll be charged an extra 10 dollar shipping fee. This is a first to me! How can you enforce a new policy on an old order? After the order was confirmed? And of course, they offered free cancellation, how nice? Basically means: “ we can sell it to someone who’s willing to pay more, we don’t care about your purchase!” As outrageous as this is, I accepted the 10 dollar charge and got promised (TWICE) that the order will be shipped on January 29th. However, I got no shipping notification on the 29th so I emailed and asked if they shipped my order. They replied this morning(February 1st) and told me that it is out of stock and they can maybe ship my order in 10 days to 2 weeks. Of course, along with the cancellation option! I’ve never encountered such unprofessional and untrustworthy shopping experience!

Disappointed with their “no return” policy. I placed a large order. I had tried one size a bit too small from a colleague and foolishly felt confident ordering a larger size. My order had shirts that were too large and a poor fit, meaning I am in between sizes. Pants are the right size but a poor fit on me (a bit too low at the back when kneeling or bending over)Very disappointed that exchange was my option as I know the size down in shirts is not a good fit and the pants just don’t fit me well despite being the correct size. The customer service rep advised me I should ordered a smaller quantity. I would still be disappointed to know my only option is to waste money to find out something doesn’t fit. I could have wasted less with a smaller order, but the policy means you have to be prepared to waste money.As a healthcare worker during the pandemic I have ordered scrubs from a few different companies and all had accepted returns if they did not fit well. Everything in its original packaging and never worn. Very disappointed at this policy. Would strongly suggest you avoid ordering here unless you are 100% certain about fit (style, material and cut) and not sure anyone can do that from a website.

I made a large purchase through Avida Healthwear recently and am extremely dissatisfied with their customer service and outdated policies. I ordered several scrubs, surgical caps and shoes in various colours, fits and sizes because I didn't know which ones I would like- I needed to make an exchange, but also wanted to return some items that I wasn't happy with. The customer service representative told me they don't do any returns/refunds at all (even if products are in original packaging). Had i known this I would not have made the purchase that I did, I'm stuck with tops and pants that I don't like!I had previously been happy with their embroidery and had recommended their lab coats to coworkers, however after this experience I can longer recommend their products. In fact, I strongly recommended reconsidering and purchasing with a company that has a more customer friendly return/refund policy. I won't be purchasing from this company again.Update: the manager of the company did contact me to resolve my issues and offered a full refund for the items that I was unsatisfied with. I did have to pay the return shipping, however I appreciate their efforts at resolving my concerns.

I was a bit skeptical prior to placing my order due to the reviews. I hit a first hitch when i wasn't given free shipping automatically even though my order was above $99. I called up and a very nice lady Doris answered the call and took my order. She then gave me free shipping and my discount. She clearly stated to me in clear terms that shipping would take 2 weeks. I called up after the first week and she was courteous in giving me an update. I called up two days later and she had my tracking number. My goods are scheduled to arrive right within the two week framework. I know they would be perfect, all thanks to Doris. Please patronize this business.

Best customer service! I got a notice my order was delivered but I didn't get it so I emailed Avida to see what my next steps should be. Doris called me back the very next morning to offer assistance. Turns out my neighbour had my package but Doris said to call back if I had any issues and she would send out a new order right away! It was lovely having that personal touch. I will order again.

WORST COMPANY EVER! 1 star is generous! Don’t waste your time. I ordered $117.00 worth of scrubs, placed the order April 2 it is now April 25 and I haven’t received my order so I emailed them. I received an email back saying that my order HAS NOT EVEN BEEN SHIPPED YET! It has been 23 days and they haven’t even shipped my order that’s absolutely ridiculous not to mention no one followed up with me. Terrible customer service, I contacted them saying I would just like a refund as they are not worth my time energy or money and they told me they don’t do refunds, Im still waiting for my order to be shipped.
