North Star Child Development Centre

We are so happy to be a part of North Star family! The staff and management are very detail-oriented and care about each individual child. The facility is spacious and bright, the toys are age-appropriate and there's always something to do. I can see that my child enjoys her time there and receives lots of personalized attention. Everyday we receive a written report of how the day went: what activities our child did and how she was feeling. We also receive a handful of pictures, which I immediately forward to grandparents who live out of town. Needless to say, they love it - it's the highlight of their day.

Obviously like any parent I was nervous about sending my kids to daycare, especially because they were both born during covid but I feel so confident in my choice of daycare with this place. Everyone is so caring, gentle and accommodating here. Both my kids have flourished in their development here and come home happy everyday.

After making the difficult decision to return to work from maternity leave early, I started my search for a daycare. North Star's location is ideal for me working at the RAH with opening hours of 630 am to accommodate my early morning shifts. With my littlest being only 8 months old, it was crucial that the daycare I choose be flexible and willing to provide care based on her routine and schedule. Sonia was more than happy (and continues to be) to work with me to ensure that my little one's routine reflects that of her home routine. My toddler absolutely loves going to school" and excitedly runs to the door every morning.I recommend North Star to any parent who is looking for a daycare. The centre is clean

North Star is the first daycare for our 2 years child and for us as first time parents. We were worried in the beginning how things will go since she was a bit shy meeting other kids. We were surprised how fast she adapt to the environment in the daycare. She loves going there and start to learn things faster than we expected. Thanks to Sonia and her entire staff members for making the daycare a lovable place for our daughter. The regular follow ups you are providing to the parents are also greatly appreciated and please keep the good work. Also very ideal location for us in terms of distance to home and work.

An awesome day care center with great director. All the staff are very professional to their roles, toys are age appropriate and great spacious place for many activities to engage with children.I will recommend this center for anyone looking for good childcare for their children

As a first time mom, it was very difficult for me to start looking for a daycare for my son. Sonia was very accommodating, answering every question that I had about their facility and routine. My son LOVES going to daycare! The rooms are bright and spacious, with a great outdoor space and playground nearby. The staff are very friendly and I receive a daily report of his activities, his eating habit, naps and mood. They also send me a few pictures of his day, which really makes me happy when I'm at work! The facility is very safe and the prices are great. I am beyond satisfied with their excellent care!
