Spirit Halloween

Decent costumes selection but some sizes are scarce/hard to find. Prices for quality of most items seem high. Convenient shop if you need to get a costume or spooky decor though.

With it being close to Halloween, they still had a great selection of costumes.

Watch out ppl was just there bought my son a fortnite costume and my daughter some fangs. Was 115$ gave the lady 150$ and we leave and drive home. Pull receipt and 15$ out of my pocket when I reached home. Huh that’s weird I thought 35$ change so I checked my receipt….needless to say can’t remember lady’s name but she’s either horrible at math or dropped a twenty. Great story just be careful at checkout.

Basically running a scam.Bought a light up scarecrow decoration for my yard. Way too expensive at 89.99 but I thought it fit pretty well with my display. I get it home, it doesn't work. Spirit halloween refuses to do a refund or an exchange. In my opinion they basically just stole 89.99 from me.

Somewhat OK for costumes if you find your size and it's got all pieces. Used to be cool for lighting and animatronics but over the years the quality has gone way down. Like worse than Chinese quality. Save your money and find a Canadian owned online store or location.

Bought a voice changer, took it home, didn't work great for my son, took it directly back to the store, they refused me a refund because the package was opened". Their receipts clearly state refunds welcome if item is in "saleable condition". A piece of tape would have made this so. The manager disagreed. I pointed out the other items on their shelves for sale that were taped up after being opened

I wasted my time 2 days in a row. Went in yesterday after work to do a refund on accessories, the cashier told me I could only exchange until today. So I went back today and after finding something that would have cost more, went and stood in the long lineup again just to be told they only do exchanges on costumes and not accessories. Not sure where in their store it says that or says anything about excluding accessories. Needless to say, I was not impressed and even asked why since the cashier and another person who was assisting the cashier from yesterday advised I could only exchange but didn’t say anything about the one accessory item I was trying to return. If I had known, I wouldn’t have wasted my money on their store or my gas getting there. If I could give 0 stars I would. Extremely frustrated. I will not be going back in coming years. Overpriced, inconsistent and inaccurate notices and their parking this year is insane and completely unorganized. Get your facility together. Pop up store or not, covid times or not. You need to do better.

I was there 2 times this week the selection for this late in the game was good . It was well set up .However the staff were no where to be found on the sales floor . Not one time in there either time . The lines were long but moved pretty fast .End result I got everything I needed and have happy kids and teenagers.

Very disappointed this year! Half the staff seemed utterly unaware of the products in the store. The store manager herself didn't even know what products they had in the store. Many staff members and the manager told us things there were untrue or even direct lies. We've been shopping at Spirit Halloween for years and this year (2022) was absolutely the worst! Not worth going this year.
