I want to be very honest here. I'm giving this 5 stars only because I understand they mean well and the struggle that exists when establishing a business.The beard trim from Dominic was great but the haircut that was done by a different barber (I won't mention the name) was the worst I've ever had in my entire life. One half of my hair on the left side was about 2 inches shorter than my right side. I didn't notice in shop as the barber applied a bunch of product but once I washed my hair it was extremely visible. Needless to say I am dissapointed. Now I have to wait a month or more and get it fixed.At this time I don't believe I will be back.

Overall the haircut was nice. Haven't been able to find to many barbers who use the straight razor in a long time. Domenic is extremely professional. I will be back.

Spent two hours waiting at the mall for an appointment that I’m pretty sure they forgot about. Then was seated with a barber, a half hour past my appointment time for a beard trim, and I don’t think he’d ever seen, let alone trimmed a large beard before. I think he spent about 10 minutes with scissors and then asked if that was fine. By this point I just wanted to get out of there without him going at it anymore. Then was charged $23. Now, I should have followed my initial instincts and just walked away. Thank god my beard grows out fast. So, if you want just a straight up hair cut or trim I’m sure this place is fine but, I find they’re just jumping on a trend of modelling themselves to be a modern style barber shop but, just a run of the mill men’s hair stylist

Frankie at The Barber Shop worked a miracle today with my 11 year old son who has had bad experiences with haircuts in the past (to the point of tears) so getting him to cooperate for a haircut since is always like pulling teeth.We were looking for a local barber who is good with long hair and have found that with Frankie. My son came in with the grumpiest scowl on his face because he didn't want a trim, and actually left happy with a smile and said he liked his hair.Seriously - a miracle!We are very happy with our experience at The Barber Shop and do recommend Frankie as a good barber for those with long hair.

The girl at the reception is nice and personable she gets a 4 star.The reason I’m rating it a 2 is because of the barber. He gets a big fat zero. He greeted me with “So, what do you want?” in a rude and aggressive way. I thought is that any way to greet a customer? I made an appointment, but he was 10 minutes late. Not just those, but he said my hair wasn’t long enough for the haircut which is BS because I’d had that haircut done before when my hair was shorter. It felt to me like he didn’t want to work. IF I ever go back, I’ll be sure to ask for anyone but him. I just left. What a waste of time.

I feel sad and cheated following the event that transpired today. I went into the barber shop to get a hair cut and shave and I was presented an invoice of $62 CAD. This is preposterous and unbelievable. In Toronto, I never cut more than $45 and I even cut between $30-$40 in Brampton for same cut.At the end of the cut, I was asked to pay:$29 for haircut$25 for shave$5 for fades and the rest for taxWhy do I have to pay for fade separately since I’m already paying for a haircut?Honestly, I feel sad spending $62 for a hair cut without requesting for any special style
