Ali Baba's Middle Eastern Cuisine
This location was busy. The man that served us was an efficient one man show. He was friendly and kind and provided fresh and delicious food in a timely fashion for being on his own. We had the falafel platter. Falafel was cooked to perfection,potatoes were flavorful and vegetables were crunchy and fresh. We would definitely return to this location.

We got some great beef wraps. They were a little small for the price, but the taste was good.Unfortunately, the guy making the wraps for us had a very hard time understanding English. That’s a slight issue, when you are asked about what kind of ingredients you want in your wrap.If we were to eat here again, we would just order ahead online to avoid the confusion.

The owner or guy at counter at night do not how to behave with customers. If dine in is closed, there is a polite way to say that, he was yelling at customers. I only got the food as the chef who prepared it was courteous. Owner thinks he is the king lol

The ever hard working team at this busy corner of Dundas W & Centre avenue provides a cheerful and efficient fresh buffet service of veg & non-veg choices. Pictured are my Vegan favourite: Generous Falafel wraps with 4 falafel balls and your choice of veggies topped with tahini & Chili sauce wrapped in a large white or whole wheat Pita pocket, grilled to perfection. Delicious! The Turkish Ayran yogurt drink is a perfect companion. Adequate stool seating is available for dining on-site.

I was again attracted by the mid-day lineup outside the restaurant under renovation. The takeout and dine in outlet is famous for its no nonsense shawarma. The restaurant has been there for almost 15 years and I really didn't see any significant price change except just to keep up with the recent surged inflation. The ingredients are still fresh and sufficient for a healthy lunch with choices of either beef, chicken and veggies wraps. If you want a great deal just go lineup and you won't be disappointed.

Really liked the platter meal, great flavour! Good portions for the price & the service is great! The chicken is well seasoned & the fish is really tasty, with a hint of spicy, the falafel was soft & crispy outside, great balance of meat, rice & veggies, they are generous with the sauces. No matter what time you go the food is good. Some middle Eastern places are fresh only during peek times like lunch, I've been here for lunch & dinner & it was tasty. Family run, central location & not fast food, healthy & fresh! Seating is good, parking not good but the dundas street car goes right by. Walking distance from Subway at University station. Great for lunch & down the street from City hall/Eaton Ctr/Dundas square, were there are lots of events. They are very good at customizing your meal if needed & can accommodate gluten free.

I make it a point to stop here every time I come to Toronto. The best chicken shawarma and falafel wraps in toronto and the quality is always consistent. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great, quick meal!!

First time having shawarma and it was sublime. Cook was friendly and food came swiftly. I had the spicy beef shawarma and each bite was full of flavour with the sauce, vegetables and meat all combined. 3/4 of one wrap will fill one up, but I ate one whole. Overall, it was excellent.

Decided to stop by this joint at 2am on a Friday night. Super clean and tidy place. Shawarma wrap is one of the best I’ve ever had and Falafel is really good. They have some amazing hummus which is usually disappointing at other shawarma joints.

It's okay, nothing special. I got the chicken shawarma wrap, it was tasty and not too much sauce. The place looked clean.The prices are a bit high for what you get and the quality of what you get. I didn't like their mango drinks, too much sugar. The place needs renovating.
