Less crowded than Nathan Phillips Square. A local rink divided into two with a regular rink and a hockey rink as well. No skate rentals here but there are two community workers who monitor the rink and ensure that it is properly iced.

This is a great local rink that (usually) gets resurfaced twice daily and rarely has crowded ice. No skate rentals available tho, so if you need to do that you are out of luck,A great place to enjoy a winter pastime in the heart of Toronto, for certain!

Great rink! It's actually two adjacent rinks, one for casual skating and the other one for shinny. Both rinks are pretty large and well maintained. There is even a locker room!

There are several rinks in the area including: Trinity bellwood, Nathan Phillips, and the bentway. This rink has a hockey playing area and a free skate area next to it. With the pandemic, there are double the reservation spots to skate (two sections)Parking is a little tricky...Note the complex names to the different areas... The outdoor pool is Alexandra swimming pool"... The indoor pool is "scadding court"... The skating rink is another name.... This makes looking up online info a little complicated on the city website....As of Jan 2021 there are a lot of tents in the area. If you come just for the skating you should be fine.Suggest writing to the city councilor to have them consider alternate options for finding homes to the people living in tents. The conditions in parks are not conducive to long term tent living and reduce the space for people to walk through when most activities are cancelled (ie city programming

A well organized place with good lighting and nice music. Also you will find some tables and chairs allowing you to set up before your skate. The place has two rinks with limited number of skaters which made me feel comfortable in Covid times. It is a place with a friendly customer service.Definitely I will back!!

What an absolute disaster. 8cm of snow on Wednesday caused the hockey rink to be closed on Thursday. It’s a winter sport, in a winter country… staff said the ice needed to be ploughed, but I literally could have shovelled that ice by myself in two hours — they had a whole day. This is the result of Tory governance in Toronto and Ontario — defunding from Harris in the 90s continued to today. This place is trash

Went there today with my 8 year old who is only learning to skate and she loved it. They have about 5 or 6 ice skating aids for little ones and it's not terribly crowded. Ice condition was good and well maintained. There is a hockey rink and a separate skating rink for pleasure skating. No skate rentals but not crowded so it's a good place to learn to skate. I'll be visiting with her more often.
