Frenchie's Chip Hut
Excellent chip truck just off highway 7 near Sharbot Lake. The front of the chip truck faces away from the highway, so you need to turn into the driveway to see it. Food items are typical of a food truck, but portions for the price are amazing. We had a family fries and it was massive!! Definitely would recommend stopping if your passing thru Sharbot Lake.

Frenchie's Chip Hut
Been to Frenchies several times now and have always had fantastic food and service. The owner and staff are very genuine and what you would expect in a small town atmosphere. I would not believe any bad reviews you read on here. I think if you did encounter an issue with your food they would resolve it in great business fashion. It is just who they are and why they remain a popular food destination. Always happy to support when we are in town and would highly recommend to anyone.

Seriously good food. Bacon cheeseburger had fresh ingredients, a nice soft bun, and a delicious patty with crispy edges. Soooo good.

Here's a photo of after I'd done my pouting up with fixings...Exactly what I asked for - a chip stand open normal hours beside highway 7...Well cooked, double blanched fries and a matching, mellow gravey to make a pouting, Quebec style... a small is good enough for one hungry person like me...If the signage from the road was more in-your-face and easier to stop for, this would be an iconic spot...

The guy taking orders was super friendly and helpful. Frenchy's was just what we needed, when we needed. Super tasty food on a perfect early summer day. I know Frenchy's can't take credit for the perfect weather, but everything was just perfect.

Had the french fries and poutine. Took about 15 minutes which is a little long for french fries. But it was well worth the wait! Probably the best french fries I've ever had. Gravy was thick and delicious and they used real cheese curds. $27 fed my family of five.Family next to me said it was the best burger they ever had. Will definitely be trying this next year!Family size french fries - $14LG poutine - $13

Best sandwich I ever had. Their Burger is amazing. I have to give 4 Stars though because the fries and rings were fried in old oil. Keep up The good work boys.
