We were a group of 8. Seating was a bit tight, but the food... Excellent sushi! Attractive. Highly recommend the Dragon Roll, Snow White Roll and the Hot Mess. The Hot Mess is to DIE for! Coming from Montreal where there are aome extraordinary sushi places, I was impressed.

* Updated July 15, 2022 *I’ve now visited Arigato Sushi (Hillside) multiple times, including last night. Consistently excellent service and food quality! Everything we ordered looked beautiful and tasted fantastic. All 4 of us were so pleased with the food. We felt so welcome and the manager thanked us for coming and the service was quick. It was busy when we arrived (around 6:30pm on a Friday night) and we didn’t have a reservation but they took our # and called within about 15 min for our spot. I am continuously impressed - this is my #1 place to eat when I’m in Kamloops. HIGHLY recommend!Original Review from Aug 2021:This was my first time going to Arigato Sushi after hearing from so many people that I have to eat there when I go to Kamloops. First impression: very friendly & welcoming and impeccably clean. The menu has so many choices - we were a party of 5 with different likes and dietary restrictions so it was great to have options for everyone. The food was excellent. Very large portions, so tasty and full of flavour. Great prices. Fast service. I will definitely be back!

Made a reservation as it was Sunday long weekend. We really enjoyed our meal. Large portions. I had rocky mountain roll and rock n roll. A little hot as described but very tasty. I would recommend.

My wife and I had lunch here and really enjoyed the Ramen and Tuna / Wild Salmon Sashimi. Generous portions and very fresh. The service was quick and friendly - we’ll definitely be back !

I am definitely addicted to Arigato Sushi! I am a repeat customer as they consistently have the most fresh, delicious, well presented sushi with very attentive and personable staff. Top-notch quality at affordable prices.I dined in early 2023 and they updated their menu slightly - they added a Sashimi Roll and, wow, it was amazing. Highly recommend!

A pretty extensive menu with a ton of bento selections. Sashimi wasn’t that fresh and the I suspect the lathering of some of the fish with the spicy sauce was to mask the staleness. That said, the staff were friendly and prompt and points for no food poisoning. Came in with moderate expectations and was not disappointed.

Fantastic sushi experience that deserves it's high ratings. Warm comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, and top quality ingredients. They have the best miso soup I've ever tried in my life and everything else was awesome as well. The fish was very fresh and the serving sizes are large enough to satisfy without breaking the bank. I can't wait to come back again.
