The worst customer service ever/very outdated beds. I booked in for a spray tan a few months ago and requested that I wanted a medium tone. When I arrived to my appointment they said that there were no mediums left. The girl said well “Get a light tone and add a bronzer.” I agreed only to find out they were charging me an additional $12 for it! I know $12 is not a lot, but it is not my fault that there are no mediums left and unfortunately you can’t transfer spray tans to other locations. I told the girl that I don’t think that it is fair for me to pay additional money because I stated that I requested a medium for my appointment and her reply was “you can drive to another location to see if they have mediums” and “I can text my boss to cover the $12 but she’s going to say no”.In addition to the horrible customer service, the tanning beds are so outdated with some even broken. I will be driving across the city to just avoid this location.

Same deal as the rest of the reviews. Try to gouge you into buying their ridiculously expensive lotions. Wouldn't let me tan without purchasing new goggles, even though I had a brand new pair in my hand (still in the package) They said if it's not in their system, then it doesn't count. Horrible customer service. Tanning bed was also broken, making loud squealing sound and location was pretty run down. I'd recommend using the Ludlow location only.

Unbelievable! I have a membership with another location which allows me to use any Fabutan in Canada. I had purchased an amazing tanning lotion that I’ve always used online as well as some high-end tanning goggles and came into this location and was told that they weren’t sufficient. I had to buy lotion and goggles from them in order to use their beds. Just so happened at the bottle I bought was on their shelf, and also from buying it online I saved $40. They could see the lotion and the goggles in my hand because I didn’t buy them from them they would not let me tan. I do not see anything on the Fabutan website that says anything about these rules. All they’re doing is trying to grab more money and it’s absolutely ridiculous shame on this location.

Great friendly staff & none of this is a reflection on them.I went in this week prior to going on a vacay to use my previously purchased minutes.You MUST spend $85++ on THEIR lotion AND buy eye protection FROM them within the last year OR you can’t use your minutes!!!Are you kidding me?New owner apparently requires this at location only.So I have minutes I purchased (before this “rule”) and now can’t use them until I spend another +/- $100.

Booked a medium spray tan here for the first time. When I arrived, they said they were out of medium but they’d add bronzer to the light to give it more of a glow. Didn’t tell me until after it was mixed that she’d be charging an extra $12 for the bronzer. Felt like that was pretty shady (no pun intended).

Forcing customers to buy $70 lotion in order to use the tanning minutes they've already paid for is called tied selling" and in most cases

I went to the 8th street location to tan. Was told that I HAVE to buy lotion and Eyewear to use the beds, If I havent purchased in a year. They are forcing people to purchase things they don't need. Eyewear, I understand. But they shouldn't be forcing people to purchase lotion. It is not a mandatory item. I will not use this location ever. The owner plays by her own rules. Very disgusting actually. Especially since it is unethical as well.

Awful customer service. You are not able to use your minutes at this location unless you byuy lotion and goggles from them. When I called to give customer feedback the owner yelled at me. Do not go to this location or primrose. Go to Ludlow where Customer service is amazing! Phones are cut off and no internet. Buy your minutes from another location. Do not support poor customer service that don’t appreciate there clients

Last 2 times I booked a spray tan they call me day off to say they don’t have light or medium colour. Had to cancel both times before functions I had. Very unprofessional.

The company’s responses to all the bad reviews are ridiculous because they don’t care at all. They haven’t changed their policies and still force you to buy their overpriced lotion and eye protection. Wish I had seen these reviews before I booked. I am never going to that location again.
