When my wife and I got married she struggled with her health. I vowed to stop at nothing to find out what was wrong with her. Fast forward 15 years and her health was so bad that she could only get out of bed for a couple of hours a day. At this point we had spent upwards of $100,000 on treatments and specialists in Canada and the US.After spending some time with Dr. Balkan he recommended sending some blood down to the US for testing. She ended up testing positive for Chronic Lyme disease. Three years later with the help of another clinic in the US and a very patient and knowledgable Dr. Balken, my wife has her life back, I have my wife back, and our four boys have their mom back!Best experience ever!!!

Dr. Balcaen shows a sincere, true interest in helping his patients. He is a kind soul and doesn't just rush you out the door like many other doctors I've seen. He provides thorough explanations of health related matters which I really appreciated. It's much easier to stay on a healthy lifestyle plan when you know exactly why you are doing it. Highly recommend!!

Was told the wrong price on the phone and was asked for over twice as much after my appointment. When Dr Jones examined my old injury, he poked at it and moved it around so much I felt physically ill and almost fainted in the office, and for the next 3 days I was in horrible pain. Worst experience ever!

This office changed my life! The staff are so understanding, kind, and helpful. I always feel so welcomed and cared for by the staff and Dr. Balcaen. I originally saw Dr. Svendsen who has since moved cities, and now see Dr. Balcaen. I came in with problems that were overtaking my life. I didn't sleep, my mental health was deteriorating, and the pain I had due to my illness was getting worse. I was told by multiple urologists I would be on medication for the rest of my life and that I had to try 12 different ones to find which one works! Since coming in, I do not experience any symptoms anymore for my illness, I am thriving off the care I receive, and as a result my whole life has changed for the better. I also do not take ANY pharmaceutical drugs! Dr. Balcaen is incredibly knowledgeable and gets to the root cause of what is going on for you, and is incredibly compassionate. He takes his time explaining what's going on for you and is genuinely concerned about your well-being and for you to get better!I couldn't recommend this office more to everyone!
