King Andrew Tower

We've lived in the King Andrew Tower for four years and really love our 2 bedroom apartment. We always get compliments when we have new visitors and everyone always thinks our spare bedroom is our main one and then are blown away at the sheer size of our master bedroom.Ricky and Johann are awesome supers and always willing to help when we call them.Only complaint would be that the wooden stairs behind the building leading up to the intersection have been busted for a couple of years now, though I'm not even sure who would be in charge of the repairs considering a number of businesses also have offices in the building.

I have nothing but wonderful things about this building and the staff. The supers are phenomenal, the management is super easy to deal with. My 2 bedroom is spacious and lovely. Laundry on each level and the views from the top of Main Ave are spectacular! Would definitely recommend.

I used to live there. Perks: was nice to have laundry rooms on every floor, and a gym, and a convenience store in the building too, also the elevators were renovated too. The building managers Robert & Marianne are kind, and efficient, and seem to communicate well.

The apartment is very spacious and we enjoy living here. Our property managers rick and Johanne are always very helpful and arrange festive occasions which gives everyone a chance to meet our neighbors.

Rick and Joanne The Property Managers are AMAZING! They are very reliable and are always available when you need them. They are so friendly which makes them very approachable. They do a great job in keeping the building clean and safe for the tenants which shows that they both have a great work ethic.Vickie

My son and I have mad a nice little home for ourselves at King Andrew Tower. We’ve been in our place now since May 2016 and love it! Wonderful and very friendly supers, beautiful apartment and gorgeous view of Halifax! The supers organize things like a Christmas social, little yard sales in the community room which are nice added touches when apartment living! Supers keep the building very clean and presentable!!! The gym and store are also nice added touches!

I am leaving this comment to appreciate the support and help that manager of King Andrew tower “Mark and Sherry” provide to us. They are really supportive and friendly and make this apartment our sweet home.The whole building is very clean and smells great!I see Sherry everyday cleaning and she always has a big smile making our (my spouse and I) days.Mark is also very well organized person that plans for snow always ahead of time.I sometimes ask him to do me a favor and he come up for help even after his office hours. He is really responsible and pays attention to every single detail.This is really delighting that we feel our voice matters in King Andrew Tower.

King Andrew Towers is a great location for easy access in and out of the city. Lots of parking is available— even an area for guest parking. My one bedroom apartment is spacious and has had many upgrades over the last few years. Rick and Johann are excellent supers. They respond quickly to any concerns. The building is well kept.

Please read entire review before signing any lease, and I am sure most of the tenants will also agree to the same:1. THE MAJOR ISSUE and very frustrating issue with this building is Maintenance! If you have a patience to wait for more than a year for your issue to be resolved then more than welcome here and even after a year it won't give any guarantee to you for that to be fixed! If you add a maintenance request that request get lost and things can JUST be prioritized if you contact owner! And even after contacting you need to wait wait wait!2. Most of the tenants spend hours and hours in managers' office just to let them know the problem and issue which we are facing and the only thing which we will come out from the office is just sympathy and no result. It clearly looks like that's not due to manager but NO SUPPORT from top management for any maintenance request to the manager. Within just 1.5 years 3 managers left their job just because of this issue!3. Rent Hike! - You will see a spike hike every year and the only way to have that reduced is to contacting owners and begging them!!!4. Exit Formalities! - Ohh my goodness! It will feel like you have made a crime by deciding to leave this building, no support of any kind for any exit formalities and you will feel more problem by the time you leave5. No STANDARD turnaround time for any of your request neither you will be contacted as any follow up to check if they are looking into your request or no! As stated, it could take more than a year even if your life is at risk!6. No security cameras in the premises and there were many complaints about vehicle damages and it was asked if we can have some security system in place but nothing was entertained7. Cleanliness wise this is a good one.

Ricky and Joanne (the property managers) are awesome! There were the same property managers I had when I lived in Prince Joe Castle a few years ago so I knew what to expect by having them as property managers again. They are always available if you need them for anything and very approachable. They do a great job in keeping the building clean and maintained and both have a fantastic work ethic. The location of this building is excellent, the 2, 31 and 33 buses have stops close by and more bus lines are accessible within a short walk.
