Lauren is the best! We've been following her on instagram for a while and have admired her talent for capturing photos of dogs, especially dogs in action and outside! We pulled the trigger to book her for pictures of our new puppy and she was fast to respond, communicated clearly and often, and scheduled us extremely quickly. The 30 minute photo session felt so comfortable and we really appreciated how good she is with dogs (clearly she is knowledgeable of how to handle dogs, especially with her special salmon treats!). She delivered edited photos to us within a week and we were blown away by how stunning they were. She snagged the most beautiful photos of our untrained puppy and anxious dog. She saw the things in our dogs that we love the most, which other photographers we've worked with have been unable to do. We are so excited to book with her again to keep documenting our pack!

We hired Lauren to take Celebration of Life pictures of our dog Pretzel. She was incredible to work with and I will be recommending her to everyone I know! She walked us through what I thought would be the most difficult photo shoot ever and made it fun and engaging. She captured our girl perfectly and we will be able to cherish these shots forever. Lauren is absolutely amazing and is so talented in photography! I have done multiple photoshoots with Lauren, and brought my dog Lucy along; and she’s been so great every time!! Lucy can be reactive, and Lauren does such a great job with Lucy, as she knows what it is like and can relate having a reactive dog because she owns a reactive dog herself! We hired Scruff Life Photography to take family pictures, including our young, high-energy golden retriever. We were worried about the dog not sitting still to get any good pictures but Lauren did an excellent job capturing pictures at just the right moment, working with the dog, and we were very happy with the results. When family pictures involve pets, it is not enough that the photographer knows how to frame a picture or has good equipment. Knowing how to work well with animals is another skill entirely.Lauren is both a skilled photographer, with professional equipment, and with a lot of experience working with dogs. Plus, she obviously enjoys the work and was a pleasure to work with. I run a small business with a focus around dogs, and booked a branded session with Lauren to get some photos of me, my dog and our products. I have done multiple photo sessions with Lauren, and each time come away so happy with the results! She did a couples photoshoot with my husband and me where we hiked through a state park in the snow. They turned out as such a good representation of who we are and what we love. A year later, we did a sunflower session with our energetic lab puppy. Lauren was great at handling our pup's energy and was prepared with treats to keep her attention. The shoot was a mix of really beautiful photos, along with some silly (and yet just as beautiful!) ones.

I love the photos from my first weightlifting meet! Lauren captured the energy from that day extremely well. She captured the big lifts, and all the little moments in between, with a variety of shots. I so appreciate her talents! thank you, Lauren!

I had the best experience with Lauren and the photos turned out so well. She’s professional, kept an eye out for other dogs during our shoot (my dog is reactive), and helped me picked two locations near by so I could get photos with both pine trees and on the lake.I can’t recommend Lauren enough!
