The pharmacy is great, as is the service. I do have one complaint about the Safeway staff.. It seems that if you look a certain way, they assume that you might be a thief and they will put a staff member to watch h you or follow you . This treatment is somewhat understandable but their judgements are not. I am BONDABLE and have no arrests except for just being me ( my outspoken ways) I think that they should be a little less obvious when it comes to being followed or watched , because it is a bit insulting and they might just be wrong in their judgements

I had lived many years in a very small town, so my grocery and pharmacy shopping were done in the small-town atmosphere of the non-chain type stores in the little town ( pop. less than 1000 ) Once I moved to a larger city I was concerned about loosing that sense of small town familiarity, however, a few people recommended Safeway and I'm glad I listened to them. I've been living in Kelowna for 12 yrs now and do almost all my grocery and pharmacy shopping at the Bernard Street location. Except for how crowded it has become, I am still very pleased with my choice, especially the pharmacy. They know me and take very good care of me.

Had prescriptions transferred from another pharmacy to Safeway as it is closer to home. Pharmacy staff were very friendly and helpful, my prescription was ready for pickup right on time. The pharmacy even personally called me to let me know my prescriptions were ready for pickup. Great staff and very well run. My last pharmacy kept forgetting to refill my prescriptions hence the switch to Safeway. Glad I switched as I can also get groceries at the same time. Thanks for the great service!
