VIE - Appartements Montreal

I moved to this apartment 7 month ago! Used to be nice building until cockroaches showed up!! office sent the team for spraying twice but after 3 weeks they came back again! And now they lay eggs and my apartment is full of young cockroaches! At least I see 10 of them every day! Just 3 weeks after the last spraying! And imagine they are small now and they grow fast!!!I requested urgent service 3 times in the last few days and still, nothing happened! Although I know even with spraying we won't get rid of them! As they move between units and they should do spraying for all units at the same time which they won't!!!

We had the best experience ever with Marisa Stefanelli at VIE apartments and decided to commit on the spot. The building is impeccably clean and obviously tended to on a regular basis. Most of all, Marisa was efficient, very personable and extremely well-organized; she made us feel great about jumping onboard right away. We canceled all other appointments for the day and never looked back. Thank you, Marisa!

100% not recommend! Worst experience! The worst admin office!I made a maintenance request because there were pest on my bed, but during the last 8 days it was really hard to find someone who could help me with my request. The admin office was closed since I made my request. No one replied to my emails, and they barely picked up the call.They even sent a wrong request to the exterminator, and I question the result of the treatment.By the way, the rental agents are nice and their office is open everyday, but the admin office that is going to help you after you move into the apartment opens randomly (max. 3 hours/day).

I visited the apartment the first day I arrived in Montreal. I was looking for a rental and Vie was so good I simply decided right on the spot. Marisa Stefanelli was my rental agent and she was professional, polite, and patient with my so many questions. The process of renting was simple enough and Marisa made it even simpler for me. A couple of days later everything was done and I moved in.So far I love the place and I’m so happy with it; I will definitely post an update once I settle in and see how the building is actually being managed.

I have lived here for a few years now. The only reason I stay is due to the convenience of having the metro across the road and amenities around the area. First off the administration of this building is non existent. They do not care nor address your concerns. I refuse to renew my lease at the price they have purposed and how I was treated by them was unbelievable. If I could post the email I would because I have never been treated so rudely.Second the building has issues with roaches. Sadly not everyone will say they have a problem so they just remain. The only way to get rid of this infestation is to evacuate the building and treat every unit here.Third and my biggest issue here is for months I have been trying to reach out to the administration about my neighbours that smoke in their non smoking apartment. The second hand smoke comes into my apartment as the ventilation here is horrible and my apartment smells like an ashtray… I never get any response when I text nor do I get any reply from emails. It’s disgusting and not to mention how it smells in the hall ways. You can also smell everyone’s food.When I first moved in it seemed like a great building that has fallen apart and is neglected. I will say that the units are beautiful. Just be careful which unit you rent. I rented one that was lower and on the back alley way… every day all I hear is garbage trucks faithfully at 7am. To be able to sleep I had to get an industrial fan to block out the noise.My advice is look somewhere else. For the price you pay here you can get so much better without the problems and have landlord that care for their property and the tenants in them. Now maybe I’ll get a response from the administration as they seem to be more active here than returning emails…

The newly renovated building is extremely clean. The process of renting was relatively quick, and extremely simple to follow through. Hazem, the representative I was working with, was polite and straightforward. The gym, pool, and student lounge are a fantastic treat and I am extremely excited to use the barbeque on the terrace. The key for my front door is slightly finicky, but is significantly better than my previous apartment; I am sure I will get used to it sooner than later.

ignores tenant noise complaints. It's been more than a month, I can't sleep because neighbors noise , I have emailed them many times and there is 0 response. They don't care about their tenant's noise complaints or city's noise violation.

So far so good. I just moved in, so i can't state much about the long term experience here. But so far, the experience has been pretty good. Thanks to Ezra Barrette at the rental office, the application went through without any hassle. Everything was pretty straightforward. The apartment looks clean and well renovated. The building has a rooftop patio with barbecue, and amenities such as a swimming pool, gym and a study room. It's located downtown and the Guy Concordia metro is just opposite the building. Very convenient location.

I was looking for the ideal apartment for my incoming MA studies in Montreal and VIE at 2121 Saint Mathieu was just it. The amenities, the rooms, the vibe, the security of the place, and not to mention the location of it is just perfect! The transitioning was superb. I have to thank Lea so much for her help, attentiveness, and frankness in helping me choose the right room and my requests for an air conditioning machine. They were very accommodating. Cannot wait to be living there so soon!
