What a hidden gem of a place! When I was there, I was extremely surprised by what I found. I was at my wits end trying to find a product for a problem that I was having, and this place had not only what I needed, but so much more than what I was looking for. Cattail Ridge Family Market
I now go to Cattail Ridge before I go anywhere else. It keeps evolving and better suiting my needs! Kim and the staff are awesome, and I get all my local farmer products (meat, veg, grains etc), rad local crafts and artisnal products, all your pet needs and most of your gardening/farm needs too!!I feel so lucky to have this local-centric business in town. Spending money never felt so good :)

I was very surprised at the variety of great quality pet supplies and food and the knowledge of staff. We bought a lot of our gardening soil there this year, very high quality. They sell foods produced locally and Canadian products . Very community based.

Nice market and fresh produce, and enjoy the owner greatly, but young staff need to be able to say more than the total amount owing to justify working there. If I wanted the personality of a Walmart self checkout, that's where I'd go. At least there the general attendant will say hello and have a good one...
