Jelger and Tanja were fantastic both for our engagement photo shoot and our wedding day. Not only did they take beautiful pictures but they were a joy to work with as well. They’re very skilled in helping you calm your nerves and relax, open to your ideas and requests, very prompt to respond while planning, and were very relaxed in how they interacted with our guests. We can’t recommend them highly enough - hire them!

Jelger & Tanja covered my wife & I's elopement to North Vancouver, and we could not be happier! Their talents and artistry managed to not only bring to life the amazing scenery (that was itself suggested by J&T), but to capture the best of my wife and I on our wedding day. Jelger & Tanja are amazing! I’m so happy we had the chance to hire them for our elopement. We were blown away by how beautiful the photos turned out. Even after seeing lots of examples of their work (and loving it), the photos they sent us totally surpassed our expectations. Jelger and Tanja are amazing! We hired them for our elopement in North Vancouver. They are a lot of fun to work with, had great ideas, and my husband and I are so happy with our wedding photos. We were married on a VERY rainy day and they were game for an outdoor, soaking-wet ceremony that ended with some amazing pictures. They put us at ease and we didn't have to worry about posing or anything like that; it was all very natural and enjoyable! I would recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I got married on January, 2021 and we couldn't ask for better photographers!We were really short on time but Jelger and Tanja made it happen and they were very responsive and made sure to get all the details beforehand (we even had a virtual meeting with them so we get to know them before the elopement day!).Our friends and family were attending through zoom so Tanja and Jelger had no problem being our witnesses! The best photographers ever <3 I found Jelger and Tanja through one of their postings on pinterest, which is a guide for elopements in Metro Vancouver. I absolutely loved their portfolio, and their post helped me so that I decided to email them about their prices, which were pretty fair, so we hired them. Communication was great; I planned our entire elopement from Brazil and they kindly helped us choosing the best elopement location and time for photos we wanted. On the big day they were very professional coming on time, giving all the support we needed, and even managing to get everyone nice and relaxed for the clicks. Our photos were sent before the deadline and my husband and I couldn't be any happier with the final product; I catch myself staring in awe at them every day. Definitely recommend them!

I contacted Jelger and Tanja a few weeks after we had gotten engaged. Their response was prompt and professional as we were set up with a virtual meet and greet. Talking with the couple was very easy going as they scoped out our vision. On the day of the shoot, they arrived with friendly smiles and an intention to have fun with us and get us comfortable rather than rushing through the shoot. We shot at many locations and the weather and circumstances couldn't have been better. We received our photos earlier than expected and wow are they stunning! The colours, the editing, all of it! Jelger & Tanja are fantastic. I have worked with them three times now, and every experience was a joy, producing incredible and memorable photos. Their collaboration and back and forth during shot planning help the photographs evolve to the next level - which might be more difficult for solo photogs missing the second and critical set of eyes. If you want a for-sure killer photo session, as they say, two heads are better than one.""
