Incredible man made lake near the University of Lethbridge. 18 hole Disc golf course on the property for amateurs and experienced players. A great place to find serenity or read a book.

This is a nice place to go for a stroll. Watch out for rattle snakes as you walk the paths around the park. I have seen them on occasion here. Make sure not to be texting and walking at the same time. because it would be very easy to step on a snake if you were to do this. The pond has a small population of pike. None of the pike are very big here though. They really should go in there sometime and clean out all the trash that can be found in the bushes and trees. That is the only reason that I am not giving this 5 stars.

I did not like the way the clouds were forming above the trees. Gross. And, the trees were not very fancy. I also think that the grass could have had some wildflowers in it. Do better.

Aperture Park is a small park located on the SW side of the main campus of the University of Lethbridge. It is a close, convenient place to stretch the legs and get some fresh air.There is a paved path around Aperture Lake, and the park is mix of treed and open areas with some public art displayed. It is not uncommon to see deer in the park, as well as a variety of birds. The path around the lake is about 0.75 km, plus your distance to and from parking.The closest parking is in Lot G, near the 1st Choice Savings Centre for Sport and Wellness (Note: this is a pay parking lot Monday to Friday until 5 PM.).
