Top Trade Insulation and Attic

Very happy. I had several businesses quote on the job. Most spent one minute assessing what needed to be done. Top Trade spent one hour. The quote was very thorough and the best value for money.Job was well done and got what was promised. They were respectful and listened to what I had to say.

The insulation crew was very friendly and professional and took time to answer any questions we had. The before and after photos they took were very helpful too. I’ll definitely hire them again in the future if need be and I highly recommend Top Trade if anyone has an issue or an upgrade that they need complete. Thanks!

Top Trade vacuumed out all the old pink blow-in insulation and then sprayed for mold on the roof OSB. It is a 1988 house and apparently they thought it was a good idea back then to just have the bath fan vent into the attic ; hence the mold issue. They checked all the openings and sealed all the voids and also checked for critter presence and checked electrical wires - a very thorough job! Two weeks later they came back and added styrofoam baffles for venting to all the truss terminations, built a proper attic entry frame from house and then sprayed new treated insulation in.They also installed a new low sone bath fan for me. Great job - these guys are good contractors... I would hire them again for sure.

Amazing people and amazing service. We had Top Trade come out to top up our insulation, add baffles & replace existing ones, do mold control, fix vent pipes and the vents themselves, and add an attic fan. They did a wonderful job and were extremely cautious of our new carpeting and paint job. We had an unexpected leak after they left and they were back within 1 day to repair it for us. A huge thanks to David, Peter, Justin, Steve, & Reed. We definitely recommend working with these guys!

Top Trade has a lot to teach contractors in general. From the initial meeting, follow up, estimate to installation, they were professional and did what they promised. Their team arrived on time, respected our property and left it spotless. The crew were all friendly and motivated - great energy and positivity. Deep respect for hiring refugees.They stuck to their quote and even adjusted when appropriate. Whole experience was excellent. Other contractors: Look and learn - they understand they are in the 'people business' !

Top Trade and specifically Peter were great to deal with. He was extremely flexible with meeting changing time lines as we completed our roofing project and was able to fit us in and complete the attic insulation. The installers got the job done quickly and left a clean worksite. The installers also went beyond the scope of work to do some extra repairs and didn't charge me. Very kind. I had multiple quotes for this work and Top Trade was very reasonable and the work was done very well. I was able go secure a grant due to the work being done right.Thanks again Peter,Brian

Excellent experience, Team showed up on schedule and completed the job as required (Install Bathroom fan, increase insulation from R12 to R52) what a difference so far even in the hottest of weather we have not needed AC as temp is very reasonable. Cleanup was completed and you would never know they were here once done. We met them at the Campbell River home show and would definitely recommend them to others...

Top Trade exceeded my expectations. David provided me with a very comprehensive quote, include venting my bathroom fans through the roof, which other attic insulation companies were not willing to do, and spraying the mold. They did an excellent job, including building up the hatch entrance so insulation won't fall out and insulating the hatch itself, two of them actually. I'm very pleased. Great work by good guys!

Great folks to work with. Gave honest advice on pricing, got the work done quickly, excellent customer service. We had to take care of mold in the attic of our new home, and working with Top Trade gave us peace of mind. Would definitely work with them again.

Yesterday I had a recommendation from our electrician, to have Top Trade look at a problem in our attic. David called right away and set up an appointment for today. Fastest service ever! David arrived right on time and quickly assessed the situation. He took lots of pictures and sent to me immediately, and made recommendations on what needed to be done. He took the time to explain very carefully what he found. Very professional and such a wonderful person to deal with. I was shocked when he told me the call was at no charge.
