Bad experience for getting covid tested. Although they where short staffed, i booked an appointment for 11 am and only got in at 12:30... all the while they where letting people come in for walk-ins". The appointment line was around the building

Come a long way since I went to elementary school here. Great place for the kids to play. Pool for the hot days, basketball hoops for the older kids and many great climbing structures for the younger ones.

Nice skating rink, but a bit dark and cold. Not critical, but I like warmer rinks more.And it's a little bit dirty. Not an ice, of course, but changing rooms, washrooms, rubber path around rink and so on. Again, not critical, but not a 5*.

I really like this facility, its location, and seeing a wide variety of cultures in activities participating together. Ample parking and city staff here just seem friendlier. Can host events can be a hub of of activity and when the weather is warm there is always a multitude of people hanging out after their hobby or recreational activity is over. The only issue I have is the cleanliness of the washrooms. Truly, the rest of the facility is impeccable but the washrooms often have strong orders and are very unkept. Doesn’t deter me from going back. Always look for city activities to do at this location.

For the life of me, i couldn't find the front door - or ANY open door. Everything was locked in the evening (645ish) except for hockey arena doors (obv wide open in June).Big place? - yes. Easy to find? Yup, on major intersection. Demarcated parking & entrance? - sort of, i saw letters on bldg exterior.But unfortunately, it certainly wasn't clean, navigable or pedestrian-friendly - esp in comparison to the many excellent centres available in Ottawa. It was a reg weekday i stopped in, not a weekend or holiday.Hmmm is this rec centre access a secret?

Love this park. Full of nice people/dogs and lots of space for dogs to run and enjoy themselves in a fenced-in safe environment.
