Our basement flooded on February 17th (it was that unusually warm day with some rain). WINMAR was there the day of, assessed the damage, and cleaned up the basement.Their team came in and ripped up the floors to where the water leaked. Most importantly they used a dehumidifier and fans to circulate air to prevent the growth of black mold.The team was kind and helpful. I'd like to single out Mike especially, as he was there to answer all of my questions, even when their work was officially completed. I really appreciated this level of above-and-beyond service.If you have any restoration needs, I would highly recommend WINMAR.

ATTENTION!!! From the very first call to Winmar Newmarket to the last message and invoice Winmar exceeded every expectation. The most professional contractor in this market sector.We experienced a ruptured water pipe in our finished basement which I was able to isolate and stop the leak. Upon calling Winmar, Jacqui arranged a visit by one of their knowledgeable technicians (Dan) who was on site within 40 minutes with the proper tools and expertise to assess the damage and develop remediation plans. Specialized Equipment was on site within the hour. Another technician (Mike) was on site two days later to assess and confirm the moisture was gone and that I could commence rebuild. Both technicians are knowledgeable and professional. Although Winmar was available to do the physical work, they did not pressure us into additional expense as I was able to do the repair myself. They even had some Pro Tips they shared.This firm is top drawer in every respect and definitely worthy of your jobs also.

We had an unfortunate flood recently in our basement. We placed a call very early in the morning and Warren very promptly arrived at our residence to assess and have a team come by as quick as possible to prevent any further damage and to start clean up and drying. As we had just had a loss in 2022 (this recent loss was an accident caused by a cat turning on a laundry room tub), this was very unexpected and devastating for us to have to go through this again. We had the pleasure of working with Mike Shamoon’s team in Prince Edward Island in the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona. The terrible winds damaged our roof resulting in water damage on two floors. We were very pleased with Winmar professionalism, fast response and efficiency. I want to thank Mike, the project manager, and his crews, Yonel and his worker, for doing a great ice dam repairing work at my house. Mike is a very knowledgeable and experience project manager. He could tell me what caused the damage to my ceiling and he knew exactly what had to be done and the time required to repair the ceiling. The crews were very professional, polite and helpful. Unlike some contractors, they did not rush the job. They paid good attention to what they did and completed the job in a timely manner. I highly recommend Mike and his crews. Thanks guys!

We were very happy with the work completed by WinMar. The workmanship was very good, and Dan’s follow up ensured all of our concerns were addressed. They even touched things up that we probably would not have noticed. The cleaning staff also did an awesome job leaving our house in pre-work condition. We were unfortunate to have a flood in our basement but were fortunate to have Winmar do all the repairs. Our basement looks fantastic.
