Tree Cutting & Removal

I am extremely impressed with Alex's work. He helped us remove a large evergreen tree off our property, doing an amazing job from start to finish.Towering over our driveway, the tree had plagued our property for years, dropping sticky sap and leaving it's remnants all across the stretch of our + our neighbour's property. This ultimately resulted in a decrease of comfort in our lives and also hindered the growth of our lawns.We initially did not want to go to the extent of cutting down the whole tree as we are nature lovers by heart, so we had it trimmed and cut in half in '19-20, in hopes that this would improve our problems.And so we went another year with the tree, but then everything changed Spring 2021.This year was especially worse with the early warm weather which resulted in the tree releasing an unprecedented amount of pollen, much more than we had ever seen in our 20+ years at this property. Making matters worse, the tree was directly in front of our bed room windows, so we were unable to open the windows at night, as we didn't want to breathe in the pollen.We found Alex on Kijiji, and contacted him. He responded within minutes and was able to provide us with an assessment on our tree. From there, he quoted us very reasonably, and the date was set.He arrived right on time the day of, and was very well equipped for all stages of the job. We are very impressed with his methodic takedown of the tree and how professional and systematic he was with the job. He not only singlehandedly cut down the tree, loaded it onto his vehicle, and disposed of it for us, but also cleaned up all the pollen and branches from the tree off our driveway.Full job with full consideration start to finish. This is exactly what we were looking for.If you are reading this right now because you need a tree removed, or require similar services, you really cannot go wrong with Alex.This man is no joke. He knows his stuff, is clearly highly experienced with felling trees, to the point where he's able to complete large jobs safely by himself.If there's one statement that resonated with me most, it's that seeing is believing:When I first saw him arrive alone, I had to admit, I had some concerns of whether or not he'd be able to complete the job given the nature of our tree, but when the job was finished---holy cow---did our property look fresh.This guy cleaned up everything to the last detail.I have nothing but good things to say about this man. We had a few enormous trees blocking all the sunlight in our backyard. We found Alex through his Kijiji advertisement and the process was easy from start to finish. Alex was friendly, responsive, and great to work with.Alex removed and disposed of two large trees, grinded several stumps, and trimmed a few trees along the property line.
