We wanted to replace our builders issue steel front door with one that had a large glass panel to let in more sunlight, especially during the long winter months. Our existing side light helped, but wasn’t enough.We contacted several suppliers in the Collingwood and Blue Mountains, but all except Birchlane wanted to supply a complete pre-hung door and side light package, which would had been very expensive and a huge job.Grant at Birchlane Windows and Doors was open to the idea and promptly came out, measured, and made it happen! We could order just the slab door with glass that we desired and would make it work. His installer was professional and skillful, taking time to make sure the fit was perfect and everything operated smoothly.We now have beautiful glass door that brightens our home and allows a view of the trees out front at a quarter of the cost and mess of a complete entry replacement.Highly recommended for prompt and professional service at a fair price!
