Hilton Quebec

Really poor. We are a family of five that are on our third night with adjoining rooms, over $1000 per night, basic rooms. One room had food crumbs in the bed upon arrival; they have intolerable Nespresso machines for coffee with no instructions; on the first two days housekeeping failed to replenish coffee or towels and today they somehow only cleaned and made up one of our two rooms while the other went unattended after we were out for the entire day. Upon bringing this to the front desk’s attention by phone, they said the oversight would be corrected immediately. It was not. After 45 min with no one arriving we went to the lobby and raised the matter in person. Only then was it corrected after one hour of waiting. While we waited, we went to the lounge due to the inconvenience related to our room. Turns out they had a convention in the hotel so when we went to the lounge, they had understaffed the bar with just two bartenders and a single table server that didn’t do her job as no one ever came to our table to take an order so we had to wait 30 minutes in line to order drinks at the bar, three drinks cost $60 (white wine and two gin and tonics). This was while we were waiting for our room to be made up after they failed to do so.For the money, this place is a complete fail. The place has been renovated but the thing is, you can renovate all year long, but if your staff suck or don’t give a sh*t, the entire facility is bottom of the barrel. They don’t deliver.Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. This hotel is ridiculously overpriced at every level. Hilton doesn’t care about the customer.

For a very expensive four star hotel, I had expected more service. It started with a message that I could check in, but while trying to check-in online, I could not get the room with Queen two beds that I had reserved and paid for. I was upgraded to a junior suite, but with only one bed. And I had specifically reserved a room with two Queen beds since I was travelling with a colleague and we don't share a bed. And when I see the comments in other reviews, not getting the reserved room seems to be a regular occurrence, so they are not learning from previous mistakes. If you change the number of beds in a reservation, you should always check with the guest if that is alright first. Then upon check in in the hotel, only two out of six terminals at the reception were open while there was a long queue. So, that resulted in a twenty minute wait. If there is a long queue more staff should attend or, if not available, the manager should step in behind the desk. A long wait for the elevators as well. The room was nice with everything a traveller needs. The standard of housekeeping was sufficient, although there still was dust on the desk after the cleaning. The outdoor heated pool is a plus. But overall, this hotel is to expensive for what it offers compared to other hotels in the area.

Really beautiful stay outside of parliament, the view was breathtaking. However, I was there for a big conference, and not all the rooms seemed to have been properly prepared. My room was extremely dusty and was missing some essentials like bar soap and the fridge not being connected. However staff were great with coming up to fix things.

Great location. Central to tourist attractions, old Quebec, and a short walk to many restaurants. Our room was always cleaned early and was very consistent. The 14th floor view was very nice. The room key on the app didn't work on the room door for some reason, but it worked everywhere else. The gym is small but has the essentials. Pool seemed nice, but we didn't get a chance to go in. Sauna was good as well. I didn't find the sauna well advertised, so if you're looking for it, it adjoins the change rooms at the back.

My family and I were here for 3 nights over a long weekend and it was a fantastic stay. The hotel is clean and very well kept as expected with Hilton standards. They provided a park and play for our toddler which wasn’t the best so we didn’t really use it. The bed was comfortable enough for her to join us.We added the breakfast buffet to our stay and the food was great. There was a nice variety of breads, eggs, sausages, fruits, desserts, smoothies etc. You can tell tell people enjoyed it because there was a 15-20minute wait for sitting each morning.The staff was fantastic. They were very friendly and courteous. My only con is the the valet parking which costs extra always took too long to bring our vehicle up front. Can’t complain as there isn’t really a robust parking space at this hotel.If I were in Quebec, I will stay here again for their hospitality and the it’s central location to the bustling parts of Quebec City

Excellent hotel at a great location. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I don't usually sleep well when I travel alone for work, but the bed was so comfy that I was able to sleep soundly every night. The lobby has a very nice seating area. View from the room is great.

Great hotel! Across the street from Parliament and few steps from Old Quebec, excellent location if you don’t have a car and wish to explore on foot. Room had a great view, beds and pillows were really comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. Fabulous staff!

Standard rooms with comfy beds. Lots of plugs and USBs built into outlets. Well lit. Shower only - no baths (we were travelling with young children, so this would've been nice to know). Excellent location. Finally, the staff at the drop-off area was quite pushy for us to get valet service... The gentleman insisted it would take me about 30-35 minutes to drive my car around and into the parking lot because of the traffic, and that valet was worry free and easy (also 50% more costly...) I'm glad i resisted and declined because it took me all of 5 minutes to find the lot and park underground. There is indeed inadequate signage to find the parking and it would almost appear that the Hilton is doing this on purpose.EDIT - the cleaning staff assigned to our room didn't speak any French which was a little odd... But more importantly we got a knock at 810 am on the day of check-out to ask us if we'd be leaving soon. It felt intrusive, made us feel pressured to leave prior to the noon checkout, and was plain unnecessary (8 am?? Come on...) It added to our unease and overall impression that the Hilton's main focus was more about efficiency/profitability than customer satisfaction & well-being.

Fantastic experience!! Beautiful hotel with cafe and restaurants in the lobby. We booked Parliament view room through third party but in the confirmation email somehow it showed mountain view room.I shared the same with VERONiQUE (at reception front desk) she helped me with it. Kudos to her customer service because the staff at front desk are ones representing the hotel and I feel she is an asset for the Hotel.We loved our 2 night stay, big credit goes to VERONiQUE and will come back to the Hilton Quebec again!

The rooms were ok. The location was great. The service was extremely poor. Checking-in at 17:00 and our room was not available. The house keeping also didn’t come and when they finally did only provided one towel. After several calls and complaints they only provided a free drink. Overall, very disappointed with the service. Also the rooms were not cleaned well. Would not recommend staying here based on price and the lack of service. The layer of dust on the vanity shows that cleaning is just not done properly.
