Northern Lights College - Dawson Creek Campus

I have done my 2 years business management diploma with 23 courses but they only issued me 1 year certificate because their academic advisor gave me the wrong course. Due to which my workpermit application was approved for only one year and when i inquire about the same they said to gabe them a proof that she gave me wrong course. They just want money. Not a good college be careful future international students.

future ame's: This program is cheap and will teach you alot of skills (full time government grants can pay for all your tuition everyone is eligible). I would not recommend only doing what is required. Try to read more than is required and prepare 2nd year projects in the first year. Dont rely on instructors they unintentionally set you up for failure. Do heavy research and ask Ame's what the pro's and cons of the trade is. Loads of people here expect this to be a semi normal job and are shocked by all of the negative aspects they learn about from instructors and ame's in the field. If you want an educational challenge I would not recommend this place, getting one two page assignment every two weeks is what you will find here. So much potential for this program yet it is not utilized, loads of time wasted in theory classes made extremely simple so international students can grasp the concepts. Essentially your teacher will be someone working their so called retirement gig". Students ask this question alot "what do I have to look forward to in this career" after your instructor has rug pulled you for the 20th time that week. Only a percentage of the students who graduate this program actually remain in the trade thats how bad it is. Some sources say 70% directly after grad while long term it is 30%. I just want to help international students who want to know about this college my sharing my experiences that I have gained there as a international student. The environment is very stressfull and college is not very ethical and always tries to give plazirism letters to students so that they fail their courses and have to pay the fees again in next semester and they are shaping their honesty policies in a way such that more and more innocent students can fall in their traps. I have seen so many students who are not able to complete their studedies even from 4 years. So guys there are so many good colleges woth good repuation are available so never come to this college just because it has less tution fees. Thank you.

I was actually quite disappointed with the admissions officer at this institution. As an adult student in my late 30's, looking to go back to school, she made me feel like I was wasting her time when I met with her. I was made to feel stupid about my high school grades which I completed 21 years ago. I understand there are rules and guidelines for the application processes, but as a potential adult student, the treatment I received was unprofessional and discouraging.

Hlo everyone, please do not come to this college. This college is not supportive for international students at all. They are just treating us like a business by failing in a course or plagiarising without any reason just to earn money by giving the same course again. Don’t be a part of mental and health destructive environment. If you want to spoil your future, so many other best options but dont choose the worst please.Thankyou

The instructor was the leader advisor for the ITA himself. Great training. Adequate facilities considering.Your certification, is really, just a right for others to run their mouth.Your supposed to know everything without others help in the industry after these courses.

Not a good college at all specifically for international students. Management is racist and shape policies in their way.So please do not come to this college. I'm not the only one who's putting bad review, you guys can check other reviews too.That's all.... But please make your decision wisely.Thanks

The worse college ever. Don't even apply for this college. You will just lose your money and will waste your time. The admission team doesn't work at all. I have never seen such kind of unresponsive admission in my life. If I could rate this college below than 1 star I would just give them 0 star.

I can write an article on this topic if i could have time to waste. They gave me courses of their choice, it was my first semester. I got failed in english 100 because I have never seen instructor at the college. It was just my first semester they don't help students at all. Teachers mark you according to your ethnicity. Worst college ever. I beg you to don't waste your time and money on this worthless college. Plagiarism for no reason is their warm welcome for every student. And also there is no extra curricular activities at the college. I wish i could rate it below one star
