Great staff super work.

The owners of Cooks Garage are the best and most honest mechanics around, I do not even live in Mount Forest anymore but I always bring my car back to Cooks Garage because they can be trusted. Great service, amazing owners, and they have never let me down.

Great old fashioned service! We had 2 work crews working northwest of Walkerton last week when one of our trucks lost an alternator. Roxanne and Rod not only got the truck fixed same day, but also lent us a loaner vehicle so our guys could continue to site and work for the day. Top shelf service right here...I can’t thank them enough for helping out the way they did. Well done folks.

Cooks got me in in a very reasonable period of time to do a safety inspection of my bus camper. The bus needed quite a lot of work to pass muster, but the team were open, communicative and honest. Parts had to be special ordered from the states to complete the job. I appreciate their hard work and excellent customer service. Jessica, who usually answers the phone, is super nice and will make you feel like a friend instead of a customer. Thank you Cooks. I'm looking forward to many years with my bus.

Change tires on my classic and they damage my rim and then they found all kind of excuses not to fix the problem then blaim me for it should close business

I left my truck at Cooks Garage for a standard oil change and informed them that the vehicle was making unusual noises and the check engine light had turned on. I picked upThe truck that night with the paperwork stating: “recommended to drive” and that there were no other issues pending. The next morning on the way to work the truck suddenly stopped accelerating and I had to pull over. Then it wouldn’t start... then I called for a tow truck... then I called Cooks. Rob quickly denied any responsibility for the vehicle breaking down and myself having to get a tow truck. $167 for an oil change/ check up , $320 for a tow truck , $460 to replace the starter, and I still can not be confident that my vehicle will get me to work on time. Almost $1000 later and Im no closer to being safe on the roads in the winter. The lack of due diligence and responsibility is astonishing. I would have been happy to work with this shop and rectify any problems that my truck had with them but instead I’m writing the first review I’ve ever put on the internet.

Patched my tire in 10 mins only charged me $25 so happy with the service and took a lot of stress off my shoulders! Thanks guys!
