Joe Thornton Community Centre

I went to use the Walking Track today for the very first time. It appears there was a hockey tournament going on (around noon on a Friday). There is no way that the track could be used as there were spectators on the track. I stopped by the office to find out how I would know, without driving out, that an event was happening. I waited five minutes and no one appeared to be in the office. I called the number listed and got the Recreation Department. I was told that I could call them to find out if events were happening. One would think that events and possible availability issues with the track could be posted and updated on the website. I highly doubt I will return as this was a negative experience all around.

Central Location for ease of access, free wi-fi, public washrooms and cool down zone during hot summer months. Have been here for a few blood drives as well

Very nice facility and great staff. The side rink is very touch for spectators, but the main ice pad is very nice.For such a good facility, the snack bar could use a bit of a lift in quality.Good place for a tournament.. many restaurants in the area for after the games.

Great place to play in a hockey tournament. I'm sure the people of St. Thomas are very happy to have it.

The arena has been around for a little while now but maintains a newer facade.There is lots of parking on site and the arena provides two ice surfaces. One ice service has stadium seating and the other has the standard arena seating.This arena surprisingly provides a gender alternative or gender neutral changing room.#localguides

Fantastic arena to watch local hockey. Home of the St. Thomas Stars! The arena has been renames The Joe Thornton Community Centre.

The stars game was fun to watch even though they lost.For a new arena it was pretty cold inside.

Participated in public skating for 2022-2023 season. Great times, reasonably priced, arena's clean and maintained.
