I am delighted to share a review of Keeva Bay. I can't recommend Sharon enough. Her love and passion for Portuguese Water Dogs shines through in everything she does.It comes through in the quality of her puppies. From when I brought him home in July 2015, Ace has been an exceptional dog. His temperament is amazing. He is smart, happy, playful, loves going on runs with me, swimming, fetch and is a great companion. He did amazing in obedience and agility training. His dog walker even uses him to help train other dogs to walk properly on leash.From my first contact with Sharon to the days after picking up my puppy she provided excellent service and advice. I appreciated her taking the time to get to know me and making sure that the puppy I chose was the right one for me. Even though I haven't needed it, I appreciate the fact that she offers life time support. It gave me confidence that I was buying from a knowledgable and reputable breeder.If you are considering getting a Portie, do your research and then reach out to Sharon.

We purchased our incredible puppy from Keeva Bay with Jennifer. Jennifer was absolutely incredible to work with. She made sure we would be great owners but also provided us with so much information to help us be successful. But most of all, we added the most adorable Portuguese Water Dog puppy to our family. I can't recommend Keeva Bay enough. They are professional, friendly, and have the most incredible dogs. In the future when we need a puppy again we will use Keeva Bay.

Portuguese Water Dogs are an incredible dog!! Sharon and Jenn are excellent breeders who take great pride in their dogs and puppies. They are very passionate breeder who take great care in planning and placing their pups. You can tell that they both love what they do and love the breed. Their dogs are exceptional and come with health testing. They have excellent customer service return emails and phone calls promptly. You can't go wrong getting a dog from them. Stitch is a wonderful addition to our family!

Jenn and Sharon were so helpful throughout the process of getting our sweet pup. They accommodated us through the pandemic and a move across the country to ensure we were included in all of the normal steps of the puppy buying process. Great from start to finish. The entire process of puppy selection, visits, and final pick-up was well coordinated and very professional. Sharon is a wealth of knowledge. Our Journey with Sharon and Keeva Bay began in 2008 when we decided a Portuguese Water Dog was a good fit for our lifestyle. Keeva Bay did not have any puppies available at the time, so we purchased from another local breeder. After bringing Chelsea home we reached out to our breeder with some questions, our phone calls were not returned. We had nowhere else to turn for advice, so we reached back out to Sharon and Keeva Bay. She was glad we called and came for a home visit to do a puppy inspection and provide us with information booklets, toys and treats. This is a true testament to the character of a pure breeder, who is committed to sustaining this breed! When Chelsea passed away in 2018, there was no doubt in our minds who we would contact for another puppy. When we were ready, we contacted Keeva Bay to see if any pups were expected, a litter of 13 pups arrived on February 3rd, 2019. After many visits to meet the mother and the pups, we picked up Sasha in early April and haven't looked back. Sharon and Jen have supported us throughout the process. Puppy visits were wonderful, selection process was handled well and we ended up with our perfect Portie!Thanks Keeva Bay!

Keeva bay was referred to me by another breeder who did not have any available puppies. I contacted Sharon and, from the beginning, she was very forthcoming with information and her time . We travelled to her home to meet her and mommy-to-be Desi and to give her an opportunity to meet our family. It was immediately apparent that her dogs were a part of her family and not just her business. When the puppies arrived, they had lots of room to explore, lots of toys to play with and were very well cared for. Our one worry was that we wouldn't have our choice of puppy but that she would be choosing for us. It turns out we didn't have to worry. We were very happy with the puppy we received and with all of the information and guidance he came with. We were first time dog owners and Sharon supported us every step of the way. Our boy Argo is exactly what we expected him to be and we couldn't imagine our family without him. I would recommend Sharon and Keeva Bay to friends and family without hesitation.

Sharon walked us through the process with the depth of a professional, but with patience and understanding she knew that we needed. Both Sharon and Jennifer were so easy to work with. They put such a great deal of effort into starting the puppies out in a healthy lifestyle and ensure that they find homes that are a great fit for all. There were no stupid questions and they never made us feel that we were missing anything during these restrictive times. Our puppy has never been wild, anxious or fearful due to her fabulous start in life. I highly recommend Keeva Bay as a wonderful loving and caring breeder.

Sharon and Jenn did a great job getting our puppy Piper ready to come home! She quickly adjusted to our routines, and the breeder was always available for questions and suggestions. In 2014 after several years being dog less, we decided it was time for another dog. We researched several breeds and visited several dog shows. Once we decided that we wanted a Portuguese Water Dog, we began to research various breeders. We specifically wanted a breeder whose commitment was to breed top quality Portuguese Water Dogs focusing on temperament, health and conformation. Yes it meant we had to wait. In 2016 we were delighted when we found Sharon Lapstra and were fortunate enough to be selected to become the proud parents of our special boy, Zeus. Sharon was very thorough in understanding our lifestyle as well as our extended family. Sharon answered all of our questions and even anticipated questions yet to come. Zeus has fit into our family perfectly. We found Sharon to be, as she continues to be a trusted and valued resource. When it was time for a second dog, there was no other choice but Keeva Bay Portuguese Water Dogs. In the spring of 2019 we took Athena home. Keeva Bay Portuguese Water Dogs will remain our breeder of choice.
