Thank you so much for catering our office luncheon today! The setup was very nicely done and the food was wonderful. Everyone asked me where I ordered the food from. For the first time out of all the monthly lunches, I didn't have any leftovers. Unfortunately, I couldn't take pictures of all the food but I managed to get a few. Authentic Mexican food, like for real. I had a giant burrito with Beef Al Pastor. The meat was so soft and tasty, combined with marvelous beans and cheese that are nothing like you would ever experience at a Tex-Mex Americanized place.Now the salsa, oh boy the green salsa, savory salsa made just right to be flavourful while still mild. I combined that with some sour cream, perfect match for me. I could eat a whole meal of just chips with this.A friend of mine ordered their small quesadillas and they looked just as good, I can't wait to try some next time.

We tried this place for the first time today and were excited, given reviews and the lovely service when we arrived. They were out of limes, which is fine as we thought the ones at home should work fine.We ordered two 5 taco deals with a mix of beef, fish and shrimp to try them out. We came home and opened the box and were shocked by what we found. Tacos with barely any toppings, fish ripped to shreds, little to no seasoning or toppings on the beef and some of the tacos were under-cooked. They were basically tacos with a bit of some sauce and pieces of shredded lettuce. That too with unseasoned meat and ripped oily breaded fish. We were very disappointed, as I was personally looking forward to having tacos tonight. Bummer. Did like their salsas and Valentino sauce was nice and spicy, but the tacos themselves are underwhelming compared even to other places we’ve tried in the city. Again, bummer as the staff was nice.

I hate doing this, and I like the food and the staff I've gotten to know, but this location is gross.I went for lunch at the downtown location and when the line cook was about to make my order they took out their phone and started texting, while still wearing their food preparation gloves. They walked over to the area where the shells are made, made them and carried them over touching the food with the contaminated gloves, and then made their way to the line to prepare my order and still did not change their gloves.After seeing this I cancelled my order.This is the second time I have seen this happen. The first time staff was handling cash and then preparing food wearing the same gloves. I emailed the company directly and told them the issue and they assured me that they would make sure the staff would be trained properly in regards to safe food handling. The ownership have obviously not done that.I want to add that the person who took my order and processed my refund was great and understood that people preparing food shouldn't be handling materials that are not food related without washing their hands/changing their gloves, but the other two people who were working there at the time were laughing at the situation.There are other places in the downtown area with equal quality food in the same price bracket who handle food safely, and I would recommend you try these other places before going here.

We recently worked with La Taquisa to cater an event for forty people. We contacted them only days before when our other food option fell through and they were helpful and gracious throughout the process. The food was delicious, well portioned, thoughtfully packaged to keep everything warm with minimal waste, and our guests were very happy. Scott and his team were friendly and helpful and it was more affordable than the option we had originally planned. We will definitely work with them again and would recommend hiring them for your catering events anytime!

This is the place to go if you want delicious Mexican food! Excellent every time we go, I recommend the chicken mole burrito. Lots of spice levels and flavour profiles to choose from if you like a lot or a little.The staff is absolutely great - friendly, helpful and patient.Nice indoor eating space, but options to sit outdoors in the front on the street or in the courtyard at the back (we didn’t know it was there the first time we came!).

I got a catered taco bar for 25 people and it was delicious. They had amazing communication with me and were so kind through the whole process! Made it very simple and easy! Everyone loved it :) would definitely recommend!
