Northern Edge Algonquin Retreat Centre

It is such a joy to bring a group together at the Edge for our shared love of paddleboarding for our second year in a row. What a beautiful place to set technology aside and connect with participants, be nourished lakeside with delicious meals, to share a sauna and swim, and to greet the sun in the morning at the water. We enjoyed yoga on the dock, a campfire, and slowing our senses down in the forest. The Edge team is helpful in the planning and executing stages, in supporting guest questions, and in delivering beautiful facilities for programming. The Edge co-facilitator is a great asset in weaving together the best options for activities and in supporting the greater needs of the group. There are a variety of accommodations to suit guests comfort levels. They have lots of yoga props, canoes, and paddleboards available for use. I am looking forward to returning with a group in 2023.

We held a retreat there in summer of 2022 and it was beyond our expectations. The location is a dream and the staff at the Edge really make the experience incredible.From the accommodations, each meal so thoughtfully created and delicious, our guest facilitator, I felt as though I was able to immerse myself into retreat. Each moment and space is thoughtfully curated.The Lucier family has created a beautiful space that they share with retreat communities and it is one I couldn't recommend enough.

I had a wonderful time at my recent visit at Northern Edge Algonquin! I was inspired and found a newfound interest and spark of creativity participating in Botanical Bounty" learning how to dye using natural plants! Thank you to the instructors/facilitators

I absolutely loved my experience at Northern Edge. Tim was our host and he's such an amazing soul. I have special dietary requirements and Gregory the chef made sure that they were met. I never went hungry. The staff was very attentive and so so friendly, just like a family environment. The atmosphere there is so relaxing and magical. It's like a home away from home.

5 stars on google is not enough! Northern Edge yoga retreat was the best experience of my life! And if you like food...you will LOVE LOVE LOVE the culinary experience. 5 star chef all the way! Thank you to everyone who made the retreat special. Cabins were cozy and clean, and quiet time was respected and encouraged. Yoga was relaxing and fun. Everything was amazing.

I attended a yoga retreat co-hosted by Rebel Soul and the Northern Edge Algonquin in May 2023. The ambiance created at this retreat centre by the Lucier family, along with Sylvie and Trae, was that of pure bliss! Allowing ourselves to simply BE! So much healing happens in safe spaces. An experience I am honoured to have shared amongst my people!

I have been attending retreats at The Edge for few years now. I can not say enough about my experiences, the beauty of the land, the warmth of people, it is always a magical experience filled with surprise and delight. I already have on my agenda another visit next fall. Words can really not say enough. <3

Northern Edge Algonquin is unparalleled. There is a magic here that I have not found elsewhere. This magic means that as a facilitator, I leave as full as my participants, as transformed as I hoped they would be. I have done a lot of retreats in a lot of places and don't imagine that I will ever go anywhere other than NEA now.

A chance to unplug!! This was our second visit to Northern Edge, even better than the first. The food was 5 star and Gregor is amazing - Todd and Martha remembered us!! We had a chance to skate and walk on the frozen lake, tap trees for maple syrup and many other activities both calming and invigorating. If you are looking for a great weekend away, Northern Edge is perfect. We highly recommend it to everyone!

What an incredible weekend full of amazing fall colours, hospitality, activities, and serenity.The accommodations were spacious, comfortable and clean.The food was incredible. Chef was so creative and accommodating. All of the meals were made with local produce and products. We eagerly listened as Chef colourfully described each of the dishes he prepared.The staff were very attentive and helpful.It was an amazing 4 day retreat. I would highly recommend Northern Edge and look forward to my next visit.
