Wonderful place for woodworking tools and ideas. Their products are top notch and staff are so helpful. Only one issue in ten years of going there and they resolved it promptly....this is why I'll pay a little more for a brick and mortar store...well done people.

Guy greeted me on the way in and helped me find the hurricane lamp I was wanting. Workers at the counter gave the vibe that they know what they are doing and actual care to help people. Great atmosphere and great experience.

I got what I came into the store for. However, having never been in there before I was unaware of the 40 year old take a number system and was prompted to the back for service. After I was literally ignored even after saying Hello until I noticed and asked about the old system. Felt like I had to be a 60 year old man to get respectfully acknowledged. Brutal.

Several people referred me to Lee Valley regarding their expertise on wood working projects. The store has specialized, quality products, but their customer service is less than adequate. Two sales people walked right by me to help other customers who entered the store after me. I went to the sales desk and the salesperson kept trying to look something up on the computer, even after I repeatedly told her my question was not about a specific product; I was looking for advice on stain colour, and all I wanted to know is what type of the wood their sample stains were applied to.

Yesterday was the first time I had been to Lee Valley in years, I hadn’t been since I was a kid going with my parents!Bryan greeted me right away and asked how he could help. He showed mehow to use the online ordering system right from my phone, which was quick, convenient and easy to use. The customer service was friendly and professional. Thank you Bryan!
