If you’re looking for a quiet, friendly boarding barn with knowledgeable, dedicated people providing the best care for your horse, this is the place. Though there is a casual and relaxed atmosphere, Big Island Stables hosts a variety of clinics, mounted archery classes, and working equitation on a regular basis. Highly recommend!

Nice sized pens which are scraped often. Quite, relaxed atmosphere with lots of opportunities to try new things (trails, obstacles, archery, biomechanics clinics). My horse has been super happy here for 4 years now!

There are a lot of good boarding stables in this county but Big Island is truly unique. Owners Kass and Steve are constantly working on improvements, big and small. The vibe is relaxed and happy and it definitely rubs off on the horses. The boarders are a community and all horses are our horses and we all look out for each other. The care they receive is great and don't even get me started on the amazing wooded trails in the back of the property. Great indoor and outdoor arena, bright and spacious barn with cross ties. My horse and I are both very happy here.

Fantastic facility! Stalls are nice and big, and turnouts are large and not overcrowded. The care is fantastic and the owners are continually doing maintenance and upgrades. Owners, staff and boarders are all great. I highly recommend it!

This is an awesome place for our horses. Big pastures, secure pens, indoor and outdoor arenas, nice barn and friendly people.The owners will go that extra mile❤️❤️The hay is always top notch too.Best place we’ve ever boarded!

I've had my horse here for several months now and am very happy, the new owners of the property have put in a ton of work fixing and updating the property that had begun to fall into disrepair. They continue to work hard to provide quality care for the horses, along with improving and keeping the place running smoothly. The indoor arena is great and well-kept, along with the inside of the barn. Pens are big and spacious and are not over crowded.

Great stable that I currently board my horse at. I have a Clydesdale and the entire team and boarders welcomed us with open arms.
