I was charged almost 300$ each for both one small and one HUGE filling. Its been 3 months and the small one is agonizingly sensitive, they rushed because it was the end of the day. I will not be returning.

There is no trust with a dental office that will start a procedure without informing the patient. Earlier this year I had a filling placed in Edmonton. Unfortunately just shy of a year later it came out. I went to this dental office thinking they would fix it. They start doing work on it, so I believe they are doing the job I came in for, then he starts a root canel procedure. What kind of dentist would start this procedure without informing the patient?!?!?! Extremely disappointed as I had no pain in that tooth, and had he actually asked I would have told him to wait a month for my dental coverage. Stay away, unless you want a dentist spending your money how he sees fit, without knowing the cost of anything until it's done.

I went for a check up and was told I needed all my wisdom teeth removed (I am 38 and had no issues with them my whole life), multiple cavities filled, and replacement of my four front teeth. I had seen a dentist 1 year earlier in Victoria and he never recommended any of those procedures.I agreed to have 1 wisdom tooth pulled as there was a cavity in the tooth beside it and he claimed it would eventually cause issues in the future. He removed the wisdom tooth in what I would say was the most my head had ever been contorted and violently pulled in my life (and I have been in over 140 professional hockey fights).Immediately, he had said there was almost a perforation into my sinus, and only a thin membrane left in the hole between my sinus and mouth. After about a month, there was still an unhealed hole where the wisdom tooth was and I got a cold which led into a brutal sinus infection. It was debilitating and disgusting with puss squirting into my mouth every time I blew my nose, and the infection was only in the sinus above the removed tooth. I had already been through 2 cycles of antibiotics when I went to see Mr McCrae. He told me to just wait and that it would heal on its own. He did nothing to address the infection and downplayed the whole thing. It was quite frustrating. I went to a doctor right after seeing McCrae and was prescribed a new antibiotic and was told by the doctor to go back to the dentist to have the hole addressed. I was so sick, I could not stomach going back. After 2 more cycles of antibiotics I started to feel mildly better but then started to have more sinus infection symptoms. I went back to McCrae and he was once again very dismissive and did not address the infection whatsoever, and pretty much told me the hole would heal on its own again (this is about 3 months since the removal and still completely unhealed) and did not recommend any repair to the hole. I left feeling extremely annoyed and went straight to a doctor who referred me to a ENT Doctor. The ENT was shocked that the dentist had taken no measure to correct the hole, sent me for a CAT Scan (which showed a 6 millimeter hole to my sinus and a completely infected and full sinus on the side of the extraction). The ENT referred me to a dental surgeon to repair the hole, which he did. The Dental Surgeon was also in shock that McCrae did not fix the hole right after he did the extraction and noticed the perforation to my sinus. Interestingly, I went to McCrae before I went to the dental surgeon to tell him the findings of the ENT and again he was very dismissive and begrudgingly offered the procedure to fill the hole that he caused. Of course, he said I would have to pay for it out of pocket as he had used up all my extended dental benefits even though he is the one who caused the hole. I chose the dental surgeon as I wouldn't let that man near my mouth again. On a side note, my 4 year old was told by McCrae she had 3 cavities and that she would have to go under general anesthetic to fill them. Obviously, I thought he was crazy and got a second opinion from another dentist with the same x-rays he took. The other dentist said there was only 2 cavities, and she filled them in the office.Needless to say, I would not recommend this clinic. I think they have poor judgement, a refusal to admit their mistakes and maybe are chasing the money.

Dr Wormke and his staff are AMAZING.My 80+ year-old Dad is in Senior Care, has some mental health anxiety issues, and they are always incredibly understanding, compassionate, flexible, welcoming, and spectacular to deal with in all aspects. Very professional, precise, and great at explaining things in terms my Dad can grasp. The front end Staff are incredible at what they do, and I mostly don't hate going to the dentist at all now!

Update: July 2023I still have nerve damage from him doing surgery on me. I am numb from my cheek bone down. He left a BROKEN MOLAR in me from SURGERY. DO BETTER this is UNACCEPTABLEHad wisdom tooth surgery and he left my back molar root exposed for three months. I have been in almost every 2 weeks regarding pain and I was told to take tyenol , and that I was assured everything was okay. Not. Very unimpressed. I have a infected gums and a tooth nerve dying now and have been in such pain and to be told it was fine when that was not the case..
