Veterinary Emergency Clinic

My cat had to stay here for a few weeks in the icu and they were so lovely and helpful to us. We take my cat in for follow ups with the neurologist, so kind and always helpful. Other vets were pushing us to put our cat down but the VEC found a solution/diagnosis and a med routine so our cat is still with us (it was pricey but worth it and they were very clear on cost from the beginning).

Such a wonderful experience. We couldn’t be happier with the care we received for our pet. Staff were friendly, kind, patient and so empathetic towards our baby. Dr. Mason was great and he made us feel heard. The confidence in his knowledge was so beneficial in our case and we could not be more grateful. Such friendly and trustworthy staff to meet the needs of your pets. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. Thank you for giving us hope and taking such good care of our boy.

I had to take my Dog Pluto to get an ultra sound, and have him assessed for Cushing's. Dr. Mason and his staff were so awesome. Everything was explained so I understood. Questions were answered. I Loved that its a teaching hospital and was students learning. It was over all a great experience considering the circumstances. Pluto went home with his medication and I feel very hopeful. Thank you so much !

Unless your fur-baby is in immediately need for medical assistance, save your patience, time and money and wait to see your own vet asap. The two techs in the back we're lovely, but nobody else seemed to want to be there. They quoted me $2000 just to run tests (without any probable cause) and left me sitting in the waiting room for 6 hours with a virtually empty clinic.

My dog somehow managed to get his leash caught/hooked in between the soft parts around his paw pads and was screaming with pain. I was driving at the time and this happened while he was in the back seat. I immediately went to this location as it was after hours and they saw me right away. They work not on a first come first serve basis, they see those who need immediate assistance first. There were other people and animals there but they saw us right away because it was something quick to fix. They charge I believe $300 right off the bat but they waived this charge for me. All in all it took only about 5 minutes from the moment I stepped in to the moment I left. I felt their urgency the entire time, they seem to really care about your pets. I highly recommend coming here if you ever find yourself needing an emergency vet (hopefully you don't)

Great experience with the staff. I attended for a consultation and they were able to take my dog in right away to do tests. Dr. Mason was thorough and didn’t pressure me in anyway regarding my choices. Simply laid out the options and possible outcomes and treatments for each scenario. He was very good about contacting me after procedures and the next day, inviting me to call at any point if I had any issues or questions. As expected, the consultation and testing was very expensive but seemed inline with other quotes I received.

My new rescue puppy has a bone problem with his knees. I was referred here. Dr. Ringwood is very knowledgeable and kind. The staff is warm and friendly. I did not have to wait long. The doctor explained everything very well and knew how to help my puppy. I have received help here years ago for my previous cat also and they were so helpful. This is a very experienced staff! The staff at reception were extremely kind and welcoming when we arrived. We had been waiting to see Dr. Mason for a couple of weeks but it was worth the wait. He took the time to review the referral, ask us for the full story and then do a detailed physical exam of our dog. He took so much care explaining what he wanted to do and why, and then was just as calm and kind when explaining his findings. I feel good knowing we did the best thing we could to take good care of our dog by coming to see Dr. Mason.

This was the second specialist we saw at VEC for my dog and I've been very happy with the professionalism and service.To name a few highlights: Thorough examination and consultation from veterinary specialists. Friendly and helpful staff. Vast and well equipped practice.

Review with Dr Intern and then Dr. Then a consultant gave us a brief rundown on procedures and we were given a timeline of what would happen< br />Next. Very very organized. Now at home have just discovered Josie has had her nails done while under anesthesia, I didn't even request!! Awesome awesome. All staff friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you I felt like I was kept informed. I'm well educated in horse care and it relates in many ways to our dogs. I wasn't treated like I didn't need to know. The care of Josie was listened to and she was looked after well
