Loved this place, had to do a brake reline n also needed a new caliper. Got a great price a lot less than places like canadian tire even with there sale n same for lordco n other places. I went here for the better parts n price, but didn't know i would get such great service and friendly people. I WILL BE GOING HERE IN THE FUTURE FIRST... I DOUBT OTHERS CAN MATCH THERE PRICE! Also with the calipers they didn't have the part but i went in morning n had parts by afternoon, awesome!

Used to be a good shop when it was owned by Alder, now the service and product selection has taken a bit of a turn. Many of the good brands have been replaced by cheap, nondescript products. Although once a staple for buying auto parts from, this store is no longer my first choice.

Went in on Saturday June 8th.Looking for gasket material for a leaky valve cover. The lazy slob behind the counter couln't even be bothered to stop the Youtube video he was playing and proceeds to tell me they don't carry it. I could SEE the roll of it from where I was standing. I asked him again if he was sure and if the roll of it behind him was what I wanted,Again said No we don't have any and went back to his video.Went down the street to Lordco and got it there, You see a red haired guy with a beard at the counter,don't waste your breath. Just leave.

I bought an alternator from them about a month ago and put in in my car. A few days ago I started to hear belt squeal so I pulled the alternator out and saw that the pulley had separated into two parts. At this point I knew it was a defect as I had to shim the mounts as if I tried to tighten the bottom mount without the shim it would seize the alternator. I took it back to alder and after they realized it was a defect and found my invoice on the computer they ordered a new one for me that arrived later that afternoon. They were very easy to deal with and caused me no trouble. Also if its any consolation my auto shop teacher that has over 25 years experience prefers alder heavily over lordco so...
