Literally the best customer service I’ve had in a retail setting. Staff are conscientious and careful around Covid protocols. They’ve helped me download the optimum app and earn extra points, the cosmetic advice has been top notch, never had a problem buying returning or exchanging anything.

The lady at the cashier was extremely rude just because I tried returning an item that gave me a rash. She yelled at me because 0.005 mm of the box was torn while I tried opening it, and said that she would have to pay for it from her pocket! Thank you for ruining my day. I will never shop here again.

Worst experience. Took my passport sized photos here and it was rejected. Went for a refund and they said they can’t cause the passport office kept one with guarantors sign. So they declined to give me any refund.

Do not get your passport photos taken here. Australian Passport Experience.I originally had a great experience getting my photo taken with Brigida. The photo was accepted by the consulate in their preliminary review and sent off to Canberra for the actual screening of the application and approval of the photo. I found out that the photo failed Australian passport standards when reviewed in Canberra and I was asked to take another photo and send it to the consulate. The photo was deemed to be too blurry and I had an email from the Australian consulate outlining this issue. I had to get another photo done asap so went to my local shoppers on King (this one is next to the consulate) and got the photo sorted. As each store is franchised, they refused to refund the Bloor Shoppers charge as the photo wasn’t their mistake. I spoke to Shoppers customer service on the phone and they told me that if I returned to the Bloor store, they would have to refund me as the photo was faulty.I went to the store and initially dealt with Maryam who was friendly and ready to process my return. She went to get Ron (Supervisor) to confirm the return and that’s when things turned bad. Ron was incredibly rude, dismissive and just plain awful. He firstly took his glasses out and starred at the photo trying to see ‘what was wrong with it’, he is not a passport processor and regardless of his opinion the photo failed Australian standards. He then told me I needed to return both photos for the refund. When I said one photo was in Canberra with my application, he told me I couldn’t return just one. He then questioned whether or not I took the photo in the last month and why I didn’t return here for the new photo. I explained the situation again, said I had an email from the consulate stating the error and am within my rights for the refund. He continued to refuse and when I said I felt I was being treated unfairly, he slammed my receipt on the counter and walked away. As he was walking away he shouted to his team to ‘just process it’. I felt incredibly shaken and upset from this experience. I was not asking for anything more than I was entitled to as a customer with a failed product. I was treated like I was lying or scamming or just a stupid customer. I would never come back here because of this customer service.Be warned. Sure they’re close to the consulate, but please try somewhere else with better, friendlier and more accountable customer service. They were in the wrong, treating me with bare minimum service would have solved this situation quickly. Instead my previous 5 star review and recommendation of this store has turned to a 1 star.

Disgusting customer service. Lady named Lisa in the beauty department is a complete savage. She claimed her family made the laws of this country yet she is not even aware of what the laws are. This lady has a power complex. Do you think you own the country? Every time a heated conversation would end and I'd walk away, she would say something disgustingly rude to start up another problem. She tried to kick me out of the store but when I would tell her to call security, she refused. Probably because she knew I was right. Later says Ok

I have been there a handful of times, so they have my name and insurance information on record. Regardless, I showed my insurance card when I dropped off the prescription as I do every time. I was told that preparing the prescription would take 30 minutes so I walked around the store for 30 minutes then dropped in to see if it was ready. When I asked, the lady behind the counter told me that they needed just a few more minutes. More than ten minutes later I went back to ask again and the same lady flipped out on me saying that they needed more time. When I finally got the prescription, I was asked to pay in full because my insurance didn't go through. After looking into it, I figured out that the insurance didn't go through because they entered the wrong name (not the name on the insurance card that I showed them at the beginning). The lady proceeded to give me a lecture about how I should show my insurance card every time I visit. I didn't even bother replying.

Worst location of Shoppers I have been to. This used to be my go to place to run errands for stuff I needed on my way out or to study but now I'm being what feels like profiled. There's this man who tries to act nice asking how I am but is EYEBALLING me every step I take as if I'm stealing. I have seen him watch me across aisles. It makes the experience uncomfortable and I feel unsafe. Never again.

Went through the beauty entrance to look at and most likely purchase something. Picked up the item I was very interesting in to have a closer look at and one of the beauty reps immediately ran over to me. She grabbed the item out of my hand and let me know I can come back and pay for it when I’m done shopping. I was shocked and completely embarrassed making me feel like a thief. And assuming that I wasn’t there specifically for that item. I actually wasn’t shopping for anything else. Horrible experience. Will be getting all my beauty needs from different location where they don’t make you feel like a thief for simply looking at a beauty item.

Amazing Beauty Boutique team. I’ve been getting my skin routine from this location for years and they give the best advice. The merchandisers are also very helpful with locating products around the store. Overall great customer service!

To owner: please do not copy and paste that message you reply to every bad review because I called the number and no one helps.I wish I could give 0 star but this is indeed the worst SDM I have ever visited.The costume representative Vivian and Kelly absolutely do not obsess about customer. They keep making excuses for not accepting returns of unopened products purchased within the last two weeks. They made me run back and forth multiple times but keep making new excuses each time and rejecting my request.It clearly printed on the receipt that products can be returned at any store but they just don’t follow their policies. Absolutely terrible service.
