We were so lucky to stumble across this little restaurant in Galiano with SUCH incredible Thai food. We love Thai and have ordered all over Vancouver, Abbotsford, and Thailand. Wild1 has some of the best Phad Thai we’ve ever had. Great ambiance too, a MUST TRY if you like Thai and are on Galiano.

Delicious and fresh thai food! loved the pad thai with tofu <3 great presentation and lovely time. loved sitting outside! Quite busy, probably one of the most popular restuarants on the island. there is at least a 30 min wait for most orders so I recommend eating a snack beforehand!

The people are friendly and the meal was excellent. The place is a little rough as far as the washrooms go, but with Galiano Island experiencing a water shortage it all works out.

An outdoor patio restaurant nestled right next to the Market. Only open from Thursday to Sunday, serving Thai food. The dishes tasted wonderful, as can taste the fresh ingredients. The portions sizes were good. The scenery and settings is rustic and simple, which adds to its charm. I highly recommend the Drunken noodles.

Great little spot. The green curry chicken was excellent. If you can phone in your order prior to going as, the wait for food can be 30 - 40 mins. All in all a great spot on the island

Amazing, delicious food! On a cool rainy evening this was like finding food paradise, my brother, sister and I couldn’t believe how delicious, fresh and generous our meals were. Thank you so much Orion ❣️~Sam, Keira, Amber.

Spent a wonderful Canada Day long weekend on Galiano Island and one of the many highlights was the yellow curry at Wild1 Cookhouse. We arrived a bit late but were served anyway which of course pleased us! We wanted it spicy and since we were taking our food to go, were given some quality hot sauce on the side. At any rate, the curry was very tasty and loaded with lots of different fresh vegetables of which the mushrooms and eggplant were particularly delicious. Absolutely excellent and we hope to be back to Galiano and Wild1 soon! Oh - and they were playing Al Green while we waited so definitely 5 stars for that too!

Very nice place, it has some rustic vibes which I loved. We went last Saturday around 6pm, our first time visiting the island and found this geme. I guess it is not opening all days because of low season but in the summer it should open more frequently. Food was delicious, affordable prices which were worth because of the portion size (really generous), we asked for the shrimp pad thai, drunked pad thai and Belgian chocolate mouse. The service was friendly, a family running the place where the father is the chef cooking all recipes, bringing your dishes to your table and the mother and daughter taking the orders,very lovely. We will definitely come back in our future visit to the island, not sure yet if this summer or next year but for sure we will be there.
