Our story began in 1985 when we opened Vancouver's first pet bakery in a small boutique shop on the eclectic, artisan Granville Island. Located in an old train caboose, our bakery quickly became part of the Island's community. As pet lovers ourselves, we knew that pets are family too, and that's why we committed ourselves to create healthy, delicious treats that pets and their families would love. Our range of products includes functional supplements, dehydrated protein, freeze-dried treats, everyday biscuits, soft and chewy treats, and gift boxes & travel tin biscuits. All of our treats are made with the finest, all-natural ingredients, ensuring that your pets receive the nutrition they need to stay healthy and happy.

Bella (my mini poodle) is in love with her new collar! It's made in Canada and the design looks very Canadian. Posh, outdoorsy and extra special. It kind of reminds me of Christmas from afar but closer up the floral design is quite beautiful.For Theo (my border Collie) I chose homemade Wild Cod dried training treats. These are really high reward treats for your pup. The smell is strong and will get their attention easily. Both of them were very happy and obedient with these ones.I stumbled into the Pet Treatery while strolling around the island. The shop is small, picturesque, and has really great accessories. I was sad to be on this trip without my dogs and when I came into this shop I knew this was the best shop to bring a little bit of Canada back to them!

Came here on a whim the other day with my dog; restocked on a couple necessities and picked up a bag of treats. The clerk was lovely and offered my dog a treat. However, what has led me to write this review is this: after I got home, I realized how HIGH the QUALITY of my purchase was and how LOW it all came to be. I mean, what more could you ask for?? I will now make it an effort to shop here more frequently!

My cats and dogs love and consume the Tuna Flake for this brand since 2019. The Granville Island Pet Treatery is the very very few brand make tuna flakes for pets. They are manufacturer, retailer and also distributor itself. I have seen the tuna flake by their brand offered from pet product corporate like petsmart to local independent pet supplier. Nobody can say no to that delicious tuna flake.

Cute little pet store! When I say little, I mean it is very small. They had a great selection of pet treats, cookies, and toys. My pup loved the treats I got from here.

Adorable pet store in a old train cart I believe. The person was very nice and helpful and the selection was good. A small place, but I managed to get something for my pet before traveling back home to Toronto.

Tiny little shop but had everything you could want for your pet. Even offered a free treat for your pup if you bring him inside. Treats we grabbed were reasonably priced and got a little ball toy. Friendly associate who answered our questions about the treats. Explained why there is whey in the treats to fluff them up.So opted for the treats with less ingredients and whey free.

Nice place to get some treats for my dog. It’s located in Granville Island, nearby the kids market. My dog enjoy the dried sardines and the bacon biscuits most.
