This all started with a Engel & Volkers printed ad in my mailbox some time ago.I remembered it when I went to sell my house Autumn 2020 and met up with Stacy a couple of times before signing up with E+V. He seemed to understand my concerns very well so I ‘took a chance’.Even though I was pretty confident about ‘the product’ (our house) we worked very hard to prepare it for the sale.Stacy’s photographer was a game-changer and made our home look like something out of an Architectural Digest magazine. Stacy also had his photographer produce a video of the property. It also looked great and apparently generated a lot of buzz. Agents from other realtors that I had spoken to were not planning on creating a video for the listing.Stacy also had a dedicated card printed and sent a round with my house on it.A few days later, the listing was on several real estate web sites and on social media. The very next day, several visits were already lined up (not obvious during a pandemic) and the very same evening, viable offers started to come in. There were more visits the following day. During that time Stacy ensured that all the interested parties were kept up to date.Within 48 hours of the appearance of the listing we accepted an offer, that was over asking price and respecting our best-case notary / possession delays.It would be hard to see how this transaction could have gone better.
