Such an amazing team of staff that work there. The dedication and care they have is genuine. Anytime I call there is always a friendly team member to support my fur babies needs. I always feel at ease knowing my furry family members will be well taken care of and what’s in their best interest every visit.

I contacted Alcona Animal Hospital asking if they were accepting new patients, lucky for us they were. We had our first visit yesterday for our new pup Cooper, and it was great. The staff was lovely and his exam was thorough and they took time to answer our questions etc. We are so happy that they will be taking care of our boy…and we will definitely recommend them.

What a great place to take your fur family. The staff is so welcoming and truely love the animals. I went there extremely stressed and they answered all my questions and took very good care of my baby Brody. Dr. Paquette is a passionate professional.

This Veterinary Hospital is by far a 10/10. we have been going here for many years with our Dog and Cat. We recently lost our dog due to a large mass in her belly.... The compassion the staff and our vet had was by far the best we have ever received. Even one of the girls noticed we were coming in to say good bye to our dog and came in on her day off with a doughnut and so have a moment too say good bye. They presented us with all of the options and we didn't feel like we were taken advantaged of. In our opinion this is where you want to take your pet if you live in the Innisfil area.

Took my fur babies here for the first time since moving to Barrie recently. I have 2 large mastiff dogs who look scary and aggressive but are the sweetest dogs. Most people are intimidated and I did not get that feeling whatsoever from anyone at this clinic. The vet was super friendly and caring for my boy who has lots of skin issues. I think most pet owners have experienced certain vets who are all about money and not the pets but I did not get this vibe here at all. I found my new veterinary and would recommend this clinic.

I would recommend this vet to my family and friends. They’ve taken care of my dog copper when he’s been really sick and for his general health. I found the doctors are informative & give you options regarding treatment. I always feel like they care about the well being of my dog and want to see him live a healthy happy life! Everyone from the front desk to doctors is so nice! I was very thankful the other day when they got my dog in the same day because he was sick & able to get him some medication.

The staff is so incredible, welcoming and so patient with our nervous pooches. Before coming to Alcona Animal Hospital, we weren’t satisfied with our previous care for our fur babies. Alcona Animal Hospital came highly recommended, so we switched!! It was the BEST decision we made! They always go above and beyond, and exceed expectations!!

We’ve been using this vet since we first got our pup. Everyone here has always been so nice and always greets our dog with kindness. When we got him neutered, I was nervous, but to hear the staff all greet him with lots of love..as if he was their own pet.. made leaving him a lot easier. I trust the staff to take care of our fur baby and they haven’t let us down.

My 19-year-old cat Thomas was acting extremely strange. I suspected maybe he had a stroke. He was walking in circles, not able to walk upstairs or downstairs properly I called and was able to bring my cat in, after bloodwork an injectable antibiotic, and a steroid by that evening he was almost 100% by the next morning he was back to his little obnoxious self, following me around.I have nothing but good things to say about this veterinary hospital and it’s staff. Every experience has been positive.

Dr. Paquette has been our 2 Rottys vet since they were 3 months old.She is friendly and thorough. We trust our dogs are getting excellent care. The staff are wonderful and caring. Overall it’s a well organized and welcoming practice. I have referred several dog owners to Alcona Animal Hospital and they have been very happy as well.
