Our 7 year old son has attended both WOLO after school care and piano classes over the past 3 years. WOLO brings that combination of professionalism and warmth. Our interactions with staff have been extremely positive. Thank you Shruti and Angela for all your assistance setting up our regular piano classes and piano teachers Chad and Ashley- you guys have all made a positive impression on our son! Piano classes during a pandemic via zoom has been a way better experience that I thought it would!

Our son attended the before-and-after-school care program at WOLO for several years. The caregivers reliably pick up children at one or two nearby schools and supervise them while they play in the playground, then escort them carefully to the centre. This is the next best thing to being able to pick up your kids yourself! Communication has always been straightforward and the level of care excellent. We also pass by the caregivers and some of the children outside every day on walks, and their high level of friendliness, patience, and professionalism are remarkably consistent. We had a family health situation that impacted our lives for two years and not only did the people at WOLO help keep our routine in place, but they actually stepped up to make things easier. It's hard to tell from Kingsway's facades, but WOLO is really part of the Cedar Cottage community. My son is aging out of the program but I know we'll be back to visit!

I would never recommend this school to anyone . I had my 5 year old boy registered in the Winter Camp for 2 weeks and I had a terrible experience with instructors and customer service.Overall, instructors there are not friendly and my son did not like the place and the experience at all. Also the location is very inconvenient, a lot of traffic, just few spot to parking and insecure location with lots of homeless and addicted people nearby.Moreover, in the middle of the second week, with just 2 hour notice by email, they closed the school and we`re asked to pick up our son at 3pm as an instructor at school tested positive for COVID.At the first moment, when I called before heading to the school, we were told that the instructor was there for a few minutes and then left, very weird situation, once someone who was expecting a COVID result was not suppose to be there. Then later , someone from school emailed us saying that this information was inaccurate, but yet we are not sure what happened, as they did not make any effort to explain, just left us with no answer or winter camp for the rest of the week .The worst part was how the staff handled the situation in the day when the kids were released earlier. When we got there, all kids are seated in the lobby and an instructor, named Jessica, was very rude with us. She didn`t make any effort to explain what happened or even to help us out to get our son`s stuff as he looked confused by the situation and as the school would not remain open for the rest of the week. I asked her for help as because of COVID protocols I could not enter the school, but she remained still saying that he was the one responsible for his stuff and he should be able to get all by himself.Then I told her calmly if she could please make sure that he did not forget anything, then she clearly almost kicked us out of the place and was very rude. We felt very bad, and when I told a friend of mine of mine what happened , she said that they were treat the same by her and she was also very disappointed with this unacceptable behavior.Later, when we asked our kids if she treated they well during the day, both said that she was always on the phone and was very moody with kids as well. And they said they did not want to go back to that school anymore.Lastly, but not less important, the customer service is terrible. It has been almost 1 month since they were supposed to refund us the money for the 2 and 1/2 days of cancellation, almost $200, and even though we`ve sent them emails requesting the money, we did not receive yet.However, what is interesting is that for charging they are the opposite. One day I picked up my son with 3 minute late , and in the next day , at 8am I got an email and a charge of $10 for the 3 min late pick up.To summarize, I would never register my kid in this school again. I did because a friend of mine recommended but after all this issues and mistreatment I would rather spend more time looking for a better school with polite and friendly staff and instructors. They are very expensive and they do not offer good quality service or good quality instructors.

My son has been attending WOLO since he turned 2. The space is bright and welcoming and we’ve seen a tremendous amount of growth in my son since he’s attended the preschool-prep program. The educators are friendly & admin staff have been responsive.

If you care for your child's safety, DO NOT SEND HIM TO WOLO.My son was not able to settle in; he has been to one preschool and full time daycare before , and he takes only a few hours to settle in. Even on the very first day of his going to school/daycare, it was only a matter of an hour or so. But I am sorry to say he did not mix up at WOLO. The reason being, there was not any effort on the part of teacher or staff to make him comfortable and get settled. First day, my wife had to sit in and they went home early. The teacher never cared to give some extra attention so that he can be settled; every child needs some time to get adjusted to a new environment and I believe the teachers should be trained to do exactly the same, but it did not happen. Second day, my wife told me that the teacher or staff lady at the desk was making faces on seeing my son, may be she was thinking that the crying" child is here again. It's my first time experience at any kids care that the teachers or staff feels fed up of the kids

Won’t ever recommend this place. My son went there and the staff spent a lot of time using their phones while supervising children. The only teacher that was always very kind was Donna. One of the owners yelled at my child, and he was so scared that didn’t want to go back (eventually she apologized but it was too late). At the beginning it seemed like a nice space, but honestly it was a very unpleasant experience for our family. Plus every month there was confusion with the hours and the payment...

I highly recommend this preschool. Everything is perfect. Thank you so much for such a great program.Especially thanks to Mrs Solmaz. She cares about our kids a lot. She is such a amazing teacher.

My daughter went here for almost 2 years and loved it. All the staff were really great with the kids and they always had lots of fun things going on. The flexible drop-in system really worked for us and staff were always friendly. Thank you for having such a wonderful bright, clean and safe space available in a city where childcare is very difficult to find.

Our daughter has been attending the before/after school care program at WOLO for the past few years. She adores the teachers who care for her and has made many friends in the program as well. WOLO provides our family confidence and security that our daughter is cared for, safe and engaged. She also attends piano lessons at WOLO and loves both her lessons and her teacher, Ashley. We feel lucky to have found WOLO

My son (who is two) has been going to Wolo since it opened and I can't say enough good things. It's a bright open space with engaging toys and great educational spaces set up each day (water table, puzzles, magnetic play). They have a child sized toilet which is a plus for the final stages of potty training. The teachers are fantastic and best of all my son looks forward to going each time. I would enthusiastically recommend this to anyone who needs minimal childcare and a bit of prep for preschool.
