Accepts custom orders for books. A tad pricey, but it is quality so... Anyway, the reason I give this place an ok rating is because the time I went here they took a long time, which is fine except the fact that they said they were done several times before they were. I'm fine waiting for a skilled job but I don't care for lying... When they were finished I came to get my book only to find it didn't match the specifications we had agreed upon, keep in mind I payed in advance. The owner tried arguing, showing me an order form my friend had filled out for something different entirely and telling me it would be extra money for what I wanted. Luckily, I was able to show him that he was showing me the wrong order form and my book was easily fixed to be close to what I wanted. On top of everything, the guy doing the project for me was very disrespectful to me on several occasions. His brother was courteous though.To be fair to them, because of personal circumstances they were a bit understaffed for a large part of my dealings with them.I'm still trying to decide if it all was worth it...

I sent my textbooks in at the beginning of Spring Break with the assurance it would take only 2 weeks. I had to wait 2 months for them after calling everyday for a week, their phone not being in service, no response to emails, and then when I finally got there after being assured someone would be there the doors were locked! The books while rebound, the covers look terrible. They look like they've been poorly photocopied on the new covers. I would not recommend them to other schools, and will not be using them again next year.

David was very nice but unprofessional. He asked if we could meet in my van or his van instead of going into the store to review the project that I was dropping off. The office is in complete disarray. When the project was done, David wanted to drop it off at my house for a fee and picking it up in store did not seem like an option. The project was done in the amount he anticipated (1 month) but as you see in attached picture there is a typo on the spine (NRW vs. NEW). Leather work is well done but considering all other factors I would not use their services again.

I got my car manual bind from this place. The book is too old and David assured me he will make it like brand new. I got it done today, and he has done excellent job. Happy with his work.Perfect for book binding in Edmonton.

Over the years I have had several special books rebound in various types and colours of leather. I have always been happy with the finished product.It is true, sometimes it takes a while, but sometimes I am not in a hurry so it doesn't matter. If I do have a deadline, I find I might have to be remindful"

Just received my textbook rebind order - They look great and it only took 3 weeks from shipping out to getting them back! They look brand new and now will last probably 10 more years. David was wonderful and answered all of my questions professionally. I will definitely use Advance Book Bindery again. Best value for the cost. I highly recommend this local company!!!!

Plain and simple, David did an amazing job of embossing my name on my bibles. I'd been searching for a bindery to emboss my bibles and I struck gold here! David sampled the embossing first, we agreed, and my bibles were done on the spot. Members at my church were unable to advise me where to get this service done, well I have the answer now. I would put no starts if I could. I've had a great experience with them in the past about 10 years ago. This time is completely different. I placed an order in November 2017 and to this date, August 8, 2018 I still have not received my order. I have asked to get a full refund and my original books back after 6 months, again after 8 months and again now after 9 months and nothing has been done yet. I have been able to reach them only a couple times, every time it's another excuse, website is down, embossing machine is down, printer is down, etc and they promise me my order is being worked on and they will send it out by the end of the week..... 9 months late and I'm still here waiting.....Some of their excuses may be true, but if you can't fulfill your orders, stop taking any new ones. I would not order from these guys anytime soon.

The spine of the book and the handbook cover were completely separated from my textbook.I called Advance book bindery and they said they were able to help me right away ! I was so glad I didn't have to wait long since I needed it for school. My textbook now looks brand new and is very strong ! They are excellent at rebindery and at a really good price too!

I have a 1945 Jazz At The Philharmonic (Vol. 1) album and the spine almost completely fell off. The service was fast, the price was amazing, the craftsmanship (while not absolutely perfect) still blew me away especially because the whole thing was done in an hour and for only 30 bucks! If I have another album that needs binding I would come again.
