Sweetness Bakery Ancaster

Ordered fishing-themed cupcakes for my dad's 60th b-day party and they were fabulous! The whole process of ordering them was great and I had almost given up because so many other bakeries either weren't available or didn't get back to me. With Sweetness I had guick email responses and reasonable prices - the cupcakes were ready on time, looked beautiful and tasted delicious! I will be back for sure!

Everything about this bakery is atrocious. The service is disturbing. The owner is SO RUDE, and aggressive. We tried a cake pop that was extremely undercooked, and looked extremely messy. We asked to see another cake pop, to see the design, prior to ordering. The owner did not state the item would have to be purchased in order to see it from behind the glass display. After we looked at the design, she stated she is required to throw it out - and proceeded to charge us for the cake pop. Not once did she offer for us to take it, since we were to pay for it regardless. SO UNPROFESSIONAL - we visited multiple bakeries in the area that day, and no one else was as rude or unprofessional. I hate to have to write a review about a local business, but please don't waste your time or money here - in return for aggressive and rude behaviour.

Was not my first time at this bakery but it will be my last. The service I received was atrocious. I ordered two cakes and cupcakes. The cakes were so far from what I requested and sent photos for reference I couldn't believe it. The cakes were for a company event, one was the logo the other a themed cake. The logo was so terribly done I was embarrassed for the person responsible for it. The themed cake was also terribly done and did not make sense, it was beach themed with people sitting in funeral attire not beach wear. It left a lot to be desired. When I arrived to pick up my order the day of the event and saw the product I was shocked, when I told the women how I felt and asked if it could be fixed because the party was only a few hours away she told me it was not possible and told me she had said previously she would not be able to do the logo as it was, when I ordered the cake. When I told her, if you had said that I would have gone to another bakery not given you the business, she insisted it was my fault because she told me she couldn't do that. Her attitude was so awful, I left the product and received my money back. I rather serve nothing at my event then product from a bakery who is false advertising their skill set and treating paying customers in this manner. As a small business owner I know the challenges of keeping customers satisfied. However, I assure you treating them with an awful, negative and cowardly attitude is not going to keep them coming back. If you can't do something DO NOT take the business and if you do take the business and put out sub par product take ownership of your work. The logo was cracked, on an angle and not complete. It was thrown together and looked as if a child had done it. I will not post photos as I feel it will reflect badly on my company and on your future business. All I can say is if you order products from here have a back up plan or you may be left with nothing to serve at your event.

i cannot believe this location receives such a high rating. I order a cake from them. they quoted me for 300$, which i fine, good work deserves good pay. However, that was not the case. the cake looked like the most inexperienced person had prepared it. they actually had stick figures on the cake. i stick figures were suppose to be on a beach and they dressed them in suits....on a beach. when i explained that i was not at all satisfied with the product they try to pass off. they gave me the worst attitude i could have asked for. i never did take the product. so if you find a sad ass cake in their window today, that was mine.

Best cupcakes around! Got my wedding cake here and it was beautiful and exactly what I wanted!

Stopped by on a wing...service was great, but I was so disappointed with the cupcakes. 4 out of 6 (vanilla based) were drier than day old. Red velvet was good. Disappointing. I would suggest pulling them off the shelf if they aren't fresh....or at least drop the price

It's been less than a year with the new owner. What a big change. The product is amazing. I love all the new and creative treats. They did an amazing job for my wedding. With only one person running this whole operation; I know how hard that can be. Here is one for the little guy. Girl in this case.

Wonderful, amazing, tasty cupcakes... miserable and rude staff.I was in the shop yesterday with my daughters and my mom getting some cupcakes as a special treat for my wife. While my mom and I talked to my girls about the different kinds, etc. we were treated to glares and indifference from the sales-person. Not entirely sure what is so miserable or terrible about selling cupcakes to excited children... and frankly, I don't care. Other customers were much warmer and engaging.Your product was wonderful, but I'll never return to or recommend your store.
