I get 90% of my clothes from here. Most things are in mint condition and in current fashion. Sometimes you come across items that are outdated or have rips or stains but not very often. I would say the staff are mostly very friendly.... I visit a few times a month and I’ve come across some not so friendly staff... but not often.I didn’t have a good experience selling my items at this location... I understand that my sense of fashion isn’t to everyone’s taste.. but I keep my clothes in top notch condition. I was told that my items were too damaged and in poor condition to purchase. I felt really insulted and I think that it might be a good idea to change the script to something less offensive. I would have been good with “nothing caught our eye today, we aren’t interested in any items”. But I do wonder if it makes a difference which staff is sorting that day as to whether or not it’s the staffs personal fashion taste that matters if they buy from you or not.UPDATE: I went in recently to try selling my clothes again and this time there was an older woman working and they bought a lot of my items. I asked if it matters who’s working the buy and she said very likely. I kept bringing back my “unwanted” items over the next few weeks and each time another staff would buy a few items. So if they reject you once, keep trying because it does matter who the staff member deciding is.

One of my favourite places to buy gently used second hand clothing. If I need a few “new” good condition items I can usually find them here. One of my favourite purchases was a Black Club Monaco 3/4 Sleeve dress that fits perfectly for $18. They also have good sales to look out for as well.

As for selling my items to them they are inconsistent. Rejected items I brought in (Nygard, Alia, etc.) in very good condition. However I found items they were selling in worse shape and/or not name brand items (I guess if you call Giant Tiger, Joe Fresh, Old Navy name brands).Also brought in a new bottle of Sri perfume and they only offered me $5 - online is well over $100. For that price I told the clerk I would rather donate it to Twice Over thrift store in Selkirk for abused women. She suggested to sell it on line.As for buying, it is worth your while to take your time to go through stuff. Clothing is separated well (ie - tops by style, colour, size).

If you go here don't take everything in at once to be evaluated. Bring it in a couple items at a time so your not being cheated out because they will try to lowball you. They didn't even give me a price for three name brand items just because they felt it was already a deal they were giving me for a name brand purse.

Brought 2 bags of clothes to sell. The staff was overly helpful explaining the process and polite when declining items. Although I only sold 5 items I am happy with the price. While I waited I shopped the huge selection of clothing and purses. I love that you can try on clothing before buying. I'll be back!

I read some of the reviews and I disagree to all bad reviews about this shop. I brought a few items, two days in a row and made some $$$. The 2 employees on Jan 24 evening treated me with respect when they declined some items that I shortly sold over to Plato's next door. They have great brand items for such a great price point. They sell some high end items and in great condition so don't be surprised at the prices. They will definitely be my go to next time I need something right away. I came back in the morning the next day and these 2 lovely ladies helped me with my items and bought most of what I've brought in store. I brought in brand new designer sunglasses but they declined to take them due to the lower price that they're offering me, advised me to sell them privately. Thank you for the honesty. My advice when selling tho, make sure you bring stuff that are in style but you don't wear but will potentially buy again. Think of what you would want to find in store when you're shopping. ALSO WASH YOUR ITEMS OR MAKE SURE THEY ARE CLEAN. Who wants to buy dirty clothes? Respect is a two way street. Love this store and I highly recommend selling and shopping.

I felt they were very fair with the what they paid for my clothes. This was my first time there and was happy that they seemed to be quite fussy about what they bought. Given their seeming fussiness, when I went to buy something I felt the quality of what they had on their racks was extremely disappointing. How did these clothes pass the “fussy” test, beats me. I did but some earrings, but no clothes.

I totally understand that items need to be cleaned, & great condition. However, this place overall is “Way too picky”. I brought name brand items in, tags on and purchased 6 months ago. They indicated u have outdated items. Yet they kept ones from over a year ago. No consistency. A lot older items on the rack.

I usually find some good items there for a decent price. I was there this past Saturday and I tried a dress on the price tag from the store was higher than the price tag still on from Winners. I brought this to the attention of the girl working the fitting room. She said she'd bring it to her managers attention. She did so as I was at the till purchasing some other items. The manager responded with does she want it, when advised no she told her to just rip off the Winners tag. Shame on this manager.
