Fantastic staff and food...Super friendly and very quick...Huge order but oh so yummy best fish and chips around...They take taste as thier # 1 ...We always come back...If ypu like GREAT FISH and chips ( fresh potatoes) best place to go !!!!!!

The service was polite, professional. I had to report a backed up toilet, someone went to investigate immediately. I was not really thrilled by the state of the dining room or bathroom - blockage aside, the restaurant is pretty run down. However, once I got home... Holy smokes, the food was excellent. Especially given the prices, it's stunning value.I'll do more takeout from this place in a heartbeat, but I don't think I'd bring a date to eat in.

Went there on good Friday, they were not allowing anyone to sit in and eat. People from out of town came to try but said it's to coldnoutside to eat so they had to go elsewhere. We ordered the fish was nasty to much oil and the frys were over cooked greasy amd some had a rotten taste. Never again

When first open ... spot on food delicious, now FEBRUARY 2023 overcooked fries or old fryer oil or lard. Cook was looking at me instead of being busy in the kitchen. Had to throw out chips. Got the haddock n chips & 2nd dinner deal. Lost customer...sad I find more lack of skilled or training and pride on restaurants. EVEN a simple fish n chips cant be right! On the positive still clean and good atmosphere, front worker is very attentive to your needs and PROPER prompt service (time of order to hands CANT RUSH TO PROPERLY PREPARE) Tip: order ahead for pickup.

Friday night as my mom and sister were going to pick up fish and chips they were in a pretty bad car accident. With all of us shooken up and dinner being the last on our minds Captain George's took it upon their selves to Deliver our food to our house without request (they don't deliver) They would not even accept a tip!!! We can't express our appreciation and are so thankful!

My coworker recommended this place and gave me a menu flyer, and it was a hit! Server was very friendly and very good food. My wife & I had the door window special BOGO half price of Haddock & Chips. Will defiantly return soon! Thanks again!
