Equipment is good but the service as of late is horrible. Will not return calls and let the answering service take the brunt off complaints. I've been waiting over six months for a return call.

We have the Big Iron Ironeater. Installed Approx. 5 years and 3 months ago. Had problems not Cycling Properly and Not Using any Salt. After a call to the office was told it’s over the 5 Year Warranty. The part required was to cost us $1200.00. They did send out a Service Tech Ron to look at it and attempt to repair it. After a couple or visits they ended up replacing that expensive part. Thanks to Ron and George they did replace it under Warranty even though it was just over the Warranty period. We are now enjoying clean water once again. By the way, Ron is an Excellent and Professional Service Tech.Thanks Guy’s

Worst customer service from any company I have ever dealt with. Won't return calls until literally months later only to apparently forget to call again. Had their guy tell us multiple times he'd be out to our place to fix our unit just never show up.

Do yourself a favour and use a different company!Trying to get your system serviced after installation is nearly impossible, don't waste your time, money, and patience. I regret using them...Had a iron filter and pressure tank installed almost 3 years ago. Installation went good and the salesman was pushing the installer to get it in and going, so they can get paid. Installation went good, but long term use, not so much and I clearly didn't spend thousands for a 2-3 year system.A few months ago the iron filter started allowing iron to come through the system, so I tried getting the system serviced calling over and over again, as it started staining our new shower. Finally got it serviced and $250 later the service rep said if there's any issues within 30 days, he'll return at no charge. There was issues, rust got worse and now we were getting purple water when the system would go in regen. Tried calling and making another appointment again it's the same struggle.Complained to their supervision and specified that their business has some bad reviews on the same topic that I'm calling. I was told that those aren't true and it's just the competition trying to make them look bad"... WOW!The supervisor assured me that they'll contact the service rep and he'll schedule an appointment to get this fixed. Do not have a well drilled with this company!There customer service is horrible.We had them put a well in they were $10,000 over their quoted price. Since then our well has quit twice. We called numerous times with emergency looking for help to get water to our live stock. One month and the service guy has not shown up.I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Do not allow this company to SCAM you out of your hard earned money. They will NOT answer service calls and will give you the run around. We have been trying for over a year and keep getting the same response from the receptionist that Ray will call us back. They had us use our money to ship a water sample to their company, all to no avail. Will be filing a formal complaint against them.

Had issues with my water softener iron eater combination . Called Big Iron to come and take a look at what may be the problem . Ray came out assessed the situation and scheduled me for a service . Steve N. Was the service technician and was very courteous, on time and very thoughtful of my concerns. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the product . He did not leave until he showed and explained how the system works and best ways to maintain the equipment. I hope Big Iron realizes that they have a gem of an employee and recognize him for that .

I would give a 0 star rating if I could. It has been a BATTLE the last month to try and get someone out to replace our tank, as they said they would under the warranty. Phone calls are NEVER returned. I was told by the tech “Steve” that he would be out here today, and he didn’t show up. He didn’t call to say he wasn’t coming, he just didn’t show up. I feel so sorry for the poor women at the answering service. I was also reassured by “Ray” at the end of last week that the situation would be resolved this week, and here we are, another week gone, and no tank exchange.Oddly enough, when we needed a new $2000 system, they made the time to come out and exchange it. Scam of a company, they’re not honouring their warranty. Products don’t work as advertised. Filed a BBB complaint.I would caution anyone looking for well service or water filmstrips against this company. Absolute WORST customer “service”.

We have a big Iron unit that requires service. I spoke with Ray in January and he stated the he could send out a service guy. I then said to him it could wait until the cold weather subsided. Have not heard any thing more, i have called every week and left a message with answering service and now it is the end of February, no call back yet. Not impressed with the service we do live out by Alliance and are willing to pay the $250. Flat milage rate and still nothing. Danny Hooper would not be proud!!!

KEEP WALKING!! Ray & Elaine pretend they don’t remember your name. They ask you the same questions on repeat. They claim that they’re going to fix the problem when they don’t. Ray even recommends that you can call him one to three times a day to remind him that your name should be on their list.It took me over 90 days to get someone to come out to my home. They sent a technician that didn’t know what he was doing and he provided me a used tank instead of a brand new tank in which I paid for a brand new tank. The only reason why I’m giving one star is because I ended up calling Danny Hooper in which he called Ray to rectify the situation. I ended up getting my money back and went to another company. The sad part is, I could write a whole list of the things that I encountered in 90 days of torture from a company, but I would be doing the same as what Ray is doing in just repeating himself and listening to himself talk. To the future customer: read these reviews!! They are all speaking to the same Customer Service issues that you will deal with once you have provided them your money. I called them based on the sticker that was on the tank in our basement from a new possession home to us. I really wish that CFCW would remove ALL advertisements with respect to Big Iron Drilling and that Danny Hooper would do a new advertisement in saying: DO NOT HIRE these scam artists.
