It was an absolutely amazing experience. The restaurant is a real gem in the area and well worth the visit. Chef Simon’s food showcases the best of the area, focussing on seasonality and good quality products.

This restaurant is in a house. It seems to be able to sit around 15 people. We were the only ones there for a bit but it was a great experience. The food was amazing. On top of the entrée we ordered we got an amuse bouche and some bread. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the meals and were full by the end so could not try desserts. Highly recommend if you are in the area .

“Hi, I’m Simon, your chef and waiter this evening.” With that intro, my wife and I started a wonderful dinner. Oysters and beef tartar for starters, prime rib and mushroom risotto for entrées and cheese and pumpkin pie with chocolate mousse for desserts. Consistently delicious. A great variety of tastes. And Simon is a delight. If you’re in this part of Quebec, get a reservation and rush over. You’ll be glad you did.

Definitely the best restaurant in the Eastern township. The chef creates amazing dishes using local products. The quality is beyond expectations.

Memorable meal, charming waiter and brilliant chef. Delicious, defined 8 course dinner. Beautiful presentation served in charming old house. Don't miss an opportunity to dine at Minton.
