Had a dining set and China cabinet moved that I purchased used. I was able to get a time slot within 24 hours, the movers were reasonably on time (good communication about delays) and were very careful moving. Fairly priced, only charging an hour travel time then in 15 minute increments, and they were accurate about the time it took to move. Definitely recommend!

I had an overall excellent experience with Small Moves. I moved my office across town - customer service asked me thorough questions to guage the volume and I rented frogboxes to simplify the move (which was easy because Small Moves gave me a discount code!). The two person team (Said and Nick) arrived on time, were clear with their communication, were courteous and chatty, handled all of my furniture with care and precision and drove safely to my new location. I had actually budgeted much more for the move and was pleasantly surprised by the final total.Would happily recommend them and will call on them again for my next move.Tips:- be fair with your furniture estimates, it helps the team be as accurate as possible.- pack it all up! Empty all the drawers and wrap your glass.- identify to the movers which pieces are most special, they will take extra care and use packing blankets.

We were unlucky and received new movers. Dropping fragile items and bumping into the corners of the wall for starters.Lastly they chipped and damaged our new 765$ CB2 table. (Please see photo on how they packaged it) Then Proceeded to say it was our fault for not specifying that the GLASS table was delicate. Then proceeded to show me glass tables on FB marketplace and how inexpensive they are. Then they admitted to packaging it poorly and that it was their first week on the job, and to take it up with the boss.This part is important: We took it up with the company and they are implying that we pay the 250$ deductible which covers 1.32$ /per KG. So basically they would compensate 100$-150$ With 250$ deductible, so we are at a loss. The move was 750$To conclude, you hire them at your own risk. The company will not protect or look after you if there is a problem with your services.

I moved from New Westminster to Victoria this past weekend, and I can't say enough about the Small Moves team that helped me do so! Brenda on the phone was super helpful and detailed with setting up my 2-day move. And on the moving days, Anees and Azzam were absolutely fantastic. They made sure to keep the truck in a safe spot that didn't block traffic, and they took great care with my things, including the fragile boxes and disassembled furniture. They were respectful, friendly and good-natured, even with the 2 location pickup and all the stairs they had to deal with on the first day! Thanks so much for making my move seamless and stress-free!

I first used Smallmoves to move my apartment contents into a storage facility and the team were efficient and careful with my possessions, executing the move quickly and at a very reasonable price. A few months later, Smallmoves undertook a major move for me - moving the contents of two downtown homes into one Upper floor Townhouse in the suburbs. We had over 300 boxes and loads of big furniture and Azzam and his team of 3 others were brilliant! They remained upbeat and happy, despite the challenging load and everything was moved, packed and delivered safely, without any damage. Despite the very hot temperatures, the team worked non-stop to get the move done in an efficient time as possible and the cost was totally reasonable, bearing in mind the large volume of goods they moved. We were utterly thrilled with the service and professionalism and have consequently recommended Smallmoves to other friends who have had an equally positive . All in all, Smallmoves provided outstanding service and value for money.

Small Moves team, Mo and partner, were polite, courteous, organized and strong. They made a swift and efficient loading of a senior’s belongings and took all the anxiety out of the trip. They even set up her bed so she was ready to relax. Thanks so much for a quick, cost effective move!

I am still trying to figure out how 120 CAD per hour for two persons' labor billed in 15 min. increments turned into 225 CAD bill for 25 minutes of work in total (moving one mid-size item between two apartment blocks within 1.2 km from each other). Typical scammers. Stay away from them.

Used Small Moves when we moved two blocks down the street. The men were professional, on-time, courteous, took good care of our possessions. The office staff were great & helpful in setting up the appointment.
